The Disguise

Ladybug was almost completely de-transformed now and she could barely cover all of her face anymore when Cat Noir jumped into the scene. He picked her up and swooped her away to safety. Once they were safe, he closed his eyes. He knew Ladybug would be mad at him if he saw who she really was. "Thank you, Cat Noir," Marinette said and gave him a big hug. Cat Noir smiled he was so tempted to open his eyes, but he loved Ladybug too much to let her down. "Let me find something I can wear to hide my identity". She searched through her bag but couldn't find anything. "Don't worry my lady I came prepared". He fished through a bag he brought and pulled out a banana suit. "Are you serious Cat Noir?" "I thought you might need it." He said, winking at her. She slipped on the suit. Cat Noir opened his eyes and laughed "Now I can call you Banana-bug". "Cat Noir! Don't call me banana-bug!" Ladybug said with rage. "I have to my lady it's too perfect" "Enough with the jokes we have more pressing problems at the moment, Kagami lost her miraculous!" "I would love to help you guys but as you can see, I have to be careful with my arm." He said holding up his arm with the cast "Cat Noir you never told me what actually happened." "There's nothing to tell" He said in a serious tone. "Cat I know as well as anybody else that when you are wearing a miraculous, you are protected from getting these kinds of injuries, you would have had to have de-transformed when it happened." "Come on Ladybug you know I'd tell you if something like that happened right? Besides the villains can't know our secret identities otherwise you know "master" would take our miraculous?" "I am well aware of that and I need to know exactly what happened back at that warehouse!" Ladybug demanded. "I'm sorry my lady, I have to go." With a downcast face he turned away and walked off. A tear rolled out of his eye, he knew the consequences of his mistake and didn't know how long he could keep it a secret.
