The unaware and sleeping Xiao Rin did not open her eyes and just lie on the floor. She has already felt her exhaustion and did not know what is happening around her. All she wanted is to sleep and recover from her fatigue.

The door slowly opens and 5 men carefully enter the room.

This room has already been scouted beforehand as it has the most view of the base and it is a good sniping spot. Hence this room and the others on top of it have cameras monitoring its location.

As the five men enter they saw the woman helplessly lying on the ground. Her milky white skin is exposed in the air which triggers the desire in each of the soldiers. However, they took a hold of their desire as they are on a mission right now.

As the men enter they scanned the room and only saw the woman.

"Base, only the female is here, the guy is not in the premise." One of them reported.

Ugh…

Suddenly, the five of them feel a bit fatigued and slowly close their eyes as they feel their consciousness fading.

One of them was a bit fast as he knew that they have fallen into a trap, he wanted to report to base, but his strength has already left his body.

"Damn… a trap…" he muttered as he fell flat on the ground.

Meanwhile, on the monitor, the group are discussing their next move.

"What should we do? It seems that we lost that guy."

"We have to take the girl first. We can use her as a hostage."

"Alright tell them to take the woman and return to base…"

The group discussed as they have decided on their course of action. Suddenly one of the people in charge of monitoring ran towards them.

"Sir… We have a problem." He said in alarm.

The group ran to the monitors and noticed that many of the CCTV cameras have no display at all.

"Damn it! What is happening here?" shouted Fian the Venom Queen.

"Call the guys in that place!" commanded Andy the Maniac.

"Sir, we have no response from them…"

Anger could immediately be seen on the faces of the three leaders of the base. How could they suffer such loss in just a short time? Plus they did not know who their enemy is, so how could they fight against him?

"Damn it! I think it is that guy who is doing this… We should capture that person!" Feng the Viper shouted as he walks to the door while grabbing his gears.

"You two stay here and protect the base. I will take some of my men to flush out that bastard…"

He took around fifty armed men and walks out of their base. Soon they already encircled the building where the woman and that mysterious intruder might be hiding.

"You, you, and you… enter with me. The rest assault the building with extreme caution. The remaining should guard the perimeter make sure that no one could go out of this building." Feng the Viper commanded as he charged towards the front door.

A large number of people began to infiltrate the building armed with different calibers of guns and rifles. They are cautiously checking every nook and corner of the building to prevent their enemy from escaping.

Meanwhile, on another building, a person holding binoculars is watching those people enter the dilapidated structure.

"They have around 50 of them… What a good reception." I thought as I observe the surroundings.

I decided to eliminate those people surrounding the building, so I know that need to act fast. The trap I set is a sleeping agent that I released in the air. This sleeping agent would have no use in the open, but in an enclosed room, the effect is really terrifying.

Seeing that Xiao Rin is still asleep, I dare not disturb her. Her mind illusion is really strong when she is asleep. When I carried her to this place, I almost did not make it in time because of the effect of her mind illusion.

But luckily my resistance is a bit high, so I was able to safely arrive at this place.

Looking at her, I could not help but think of my mother.

I carefully take out two knives from my back and held them tightly.

"This is the start… Mom, Dad, and Qiao, please… look after me." I prayed in my mind as I suddenly jumped down from the top floor of the building.

As I fall down, I would grab on the ledge to make my fall slow down. I soon landed on the ground with a minimum sound and rolled to the side as I hid behind a wrecked car.

Looking from that corner, I soon noticed two people guarding this side of the building. Without hesitation, I quickly threw the two knives which directly hit their skulls. The two people fell to the ground with a thud, but no one noticed it.

Suddenly, I heard gunshots from the building.

"It's starting…" I muttered.

I quickened my pace and quickly eliminate the nearby people guarding the perimeter. But before I could move forward, I suddenly noticed a CCTV camera on one of the street corners. That CCTV camera can see the remaining people, so I could not make a move.

When I saw the explosives on the body of the people I took down, I quickly had an idea.

I silently move to the side door and enter one of the open windows on the ground floor. Once inside, I began to set up the explosives on the stairs, the doors, and the windows.

My movement was too quick that it did not take me more than five minutes before I finished everything. The gunfight is still happening when I left the building and watch the show on the other side.

Two minutes later, it all ended and a loud shout was heard from inside.

"What the fuck is this?! How could this happen?!" shouted a man in a rage.

I knew why he is angry. This is because I tied his five men and their guns in a room. When those guys wake up they would surely trigger the gun and it would fire.

And that was the cause of the gunfight.

Of course, their boss would be angry upon knowing that he killed his own men.

"Hahaha… Stupid…" I muttered with a smirk.

I soon heard many footsteps coming from the stairs. I already trapped the first and second-floor stairs where those people are marching forth.

And then…

Ka-Boom!

The building was shaken and the perimeter guards were shocked. They immediately ran towards the building to see what just happened.

But as soon as some of them opened the door…

Boom! Boom!

The loud explosions rocked the whole building. Then on the stairs, another explosion occurred which shock the whole stairs and turned them into ruins.

Many casualties now lie on the ground as I watch those people from the other building. Taking out a couple of grenades, I pulled their pins out and began throwing them on the rest of the floor where there are still people running towards the stairs.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The series of deafening explosions rocked the whole building once again.

The people in the monitoring could not help but ran outside to see what is happening inside the building. I knew that this would happen, so I immediately take out my binoculars and carefully scanned the people in the building looking in the direction of the accident.

I could see a tall and slender woman, and a large and bulky man holding binoculars while looking in the direction of the building.

"Got ya…" I muttered.

From inside the rubbles, I notice that there is a figure that can still move. This man seems to be really tough as he can still walk even though his body is riddled with wounds. Then I discover that this person is not a normal one. He is one of those super-powered beings, for his ability? That, I did not know.

As I observe that guy, I also noticed that there are still armed men that survived that attack.

"I guess I just have to finish everything myself, then," I muttered as I took aim.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

I shot those people that appear in my sight using a black P92 handgun without hesitation. Then with a leap, I jumped from my location to the building where those people are.

My figure accurately enters the window and I rolled down to the ground to lighten my fall.

Feng the Viper turns his gaze in the direction of the gunshot and wanted to raise his rifle. However, both of his arms are heavily wounded and the pain caused him to wince. But how could he accept such a result? He is Feng the Viper, someone with extreme agility and good shooting skills. How could he fall in this place?

He immediately turns around and was about to run when he heard the sound of something falling through the window.

When he turns his head, what he saw is the face of a young man. But that face is someone he could not forget.

This is because he knew that the person should have died a year ago with many stabs on his body. But for some reason, he was actually able to live. That face belongs to a young man named Xin Wei.
