New Look

Cross roared "Why! Ugh, I'm such an idiot!" the rest of the group had funny faces and Guo Ran cried "My Immortal Ship!" Xia Chen kicked a rock in regret and Long Chen shook his head saying "There'll be another one." He placated Cross, Guo Ran, and Xia Chen.

Xue'er came to Cross, she looked at him and he looked in her eyes before looking away, feeling like a child who did something wrong. Xue'er touched his cheek and smiled softly saying "So angry, just for me?" Cross held her hands and said "Of course, I love you." Xue'er smiled beautifully and kissed him.

The rest clicked their tongues and turned away, suddenly they were surrounded by the Devil race powerhouses, who came with the guy who got fooled by the cauldron. But millions of Starry River Sky powerhouses appeared and threatened them.

Cross held Xue'er in his arms and ignored the world as he said "Sorry you had to see that." Xue'er said "It was very disgusting, but I'm happy you care so much about me." Cross kissed her head as he said "You're my Xuexue. Even if the King of Heaven wants you, he'll have to step over my corpse."

Xue'er choked up and cried tears of joy. Cross smiled and said "Come, baby." as he patted his head, Xue'er turned into a small Phoenix and nestled into his hair, cooing in comfort. Cross smiled and turned to the Demons saying "A shame, I just had a sex slave for you. Alas, she didn't live long enough."

The Demons snorted and left in the face of millions of powerhouses. The group went back to the Lingxiao Academy compound and Xu Changchuan was there, he said "Brother Long, you wanted to see me?" Long Chen gave him the World Stone and Xu Changchuan jumped in shock at the 2 Immortal Full moon Rhinoceros corpses. He said thanks and left immediately, Long Chen smiled before going to the Inner Courtyard with the group.

A while later

The group went to the Lingxiao Palace building. Cross was sitting on the wooden sword as he said "Wow!" they walked inside and saw a massive hall with a light screen door. They walked through the light screen and Bai Shishi's mother, who was with them, said "There's 9 doors here, if you feel a soul stabbing pain, you must stop."

The group walked and Zhong Ling and Zhong Xiu stopped, but the rest went through the 9th Light screen into an even bigger hall. There was a bone tablet with Jiu Li first generation Language on it, impossible to decipher.

Cross tried copying the tablet and he swayed from side to side, Bai Shishi's mother covered his eyes and Cross returned to normal as she said "This fellow, are you trying to explode your soul?" Cross said "Ah! I will get this! I must!" Bai Shishi's mother shook her head and removed her hand.

Cross squinted and just copied the base meaning, as expected he was able to get the words but could get the full comprehension. This was mainly because it was Jiu Li first gen. language. If it was normal, he could copy no problem.

The Jiu Li first gen. language is extremely ancient and old, it was the main reason humans became powerhouses in ancient times. Super old stuff. Cross scanned all the tablets, compiling books with the characters in them. Find the language origin, learn it, then comeback and fill out the books.

Xue'er took the sword and went to a bone tablet that she felt summoning her. She hugged the wooden sword and sat down in front of a tablet.

Cross smiled and looked up, feeling a summoning from above. Apparently, Long Chen and Bai Shishi felt it there too. They stepped on a stair case and Cross saw a war scene, he climbed the steps and the battlefield got intense a lot of things were happening.

Suddenly, the scene changed to a single man. His hand glowed black and he punched an entire plant into nothing before saying something, Cross couldn't understand what he said but his blood started boiling in excitement.

The planet was destroyed and devoured as the man moved on. Cross followed him and the man suddenly stopped and turned around. His eyes were pitch black with red pupils. His iris and the whites of his eyes were all black, in short they were very scary eyes.

Cross and the man looked at each other and Cross felt his soul prickling in pain, but he refused to look away and admit defeat. The man suddenly cracked a smile and his eyes glowed, Cross felt endless pain in his head and eyes but he forced them open, staring at the man, who's mouth was moving but was speaking a language Cross couldn't understand.

Suddenly, the scene shattered and Cross was back with the rest at the top of the stairs. He held his head and groaned, Long Chen and Bai Shishi were serious and Cross shook his head felling something new was there but he didn't know what it was.

He had a feeling it was spectacular though.

The arrived in a room with 9 Bone Tablets, all the Bone tablets were calling to Cross but they were very faint. Bai Shishi, Huo Ling'er, and Lei Ling'er ran to a bone tablet each. Long Chen and Cross looked at each other before continuing up the stairs.

Cross scanned the bone tablets and felt it was much easier as he collected all the characters before going up with Long Chen. They climbed 99 steps and came to a room with 3 Bone Tablets, the War God Hall Master was sitting in front of a Dragon Bone Tablet.

Cross scanned that tablet before looking at the other two. He scanned both of them before going to the third tablet. He looked at it before sitting down and sinking his mind into the tablet.

He was introduced to a gold and green world.

He suddenly trembled and Elven flew out of his mouth. The world lit up brilliantly and Cross' eyes glazed over as he chanted endlessly, consuming up his soul power at an astonishing rate. Cross felt absolutely nothing but the golden markings on his face lit up mysteriously.

A while later

Cross' opened his eyes and they flashed as he stood up. He walked down the stairs and left the building, scanning everything he missed. He walked outside and stepped on the grass, flowers bloomed around his feet and the area became full of life.

Cross hummed to himself before blurring and disappearing completely.

A while later

The Ruins trembled and split down the middle, an arena rose from the ground and a Primal Chaos Aura filled the world. The Saint King Convention finally started.

Time passed and everyone went to the arena.

Long Chen led the group, along with the Starry River powerhouses, the Dragon Blood Warriors he found, Gu Yang, Li Qi, Song Mingyuan, Yue Zifeng, along with Ying'er, and Hong'er. They also saw Feng Fei, Feng Xue'er and Feng Fei locked eyes and then glanced at the other's wooden sword.

Feng Xue'er smiled and Feng Fei's ear tips turned pink as she left, nodding to Feng Xue'er.

Bai Shishi said "Long Chen, where's Cross?" Long Chen smirked and said "I don't know." the entire group was stunned, Gu Yang held the spear and said "He vanished? I wanted to thank him for the spear..." Elise clicked her tongue and said "That fellow let us out in the Lingxiao Palace and left without a word." Red nodded along.

Long Chen hummed and said "He'll be here..." he narrowed his eyes and said "He'll be here for sure..." the group was silent and continued along.

The group came to the arena and Dongming Yu, Jasmine, and Amelia appeared with happy smiles. Someone shouted "Long Chen! You and that damn elf will die today!" a hammer smashed him to paste as a man with flowing clothes shouted "That damn elf is my father, you clown! Who else is looking to die today!?"

Zephyr appeared with a loud entrance and he was punched in the head by a woman who said "Idiot! What are you doing!?" Zephyr sneered and said "What does it look like, you old bitch." Tang Wan'er clenched her fists and growled "I'll kill you!" Zephyr skipped and bounced over to Long Chen saying "Uncle Long, Aunt Wan'er is too fierce! She's been trying to hook me up with her friends! Save me!"

Long Chen shivered and Tang Wan'er hugged him tightly, kissing him as she cried "I missed you! Waah!" Zephyr recorded her pitiful appearance and chuckled evilly. A man who was the friend of the meat patty shouted angrily "You dare to kill my disciples?!"

A cold voice sounded "Is that a problem?" frost appeared on the ground, Pandora and Blue appeared with Ye Zhiqiu, the man turned to ice and shattered. Red shouted "Blue!" Blue snorted, Pandora smiled, and Ye Zhiqiu came to Long Chen with a small smile, melting the ice around the arena.

Meng Qi and Luna appeared in front of the group with a young girl, who was a Heaven Swallowing Sparrow, Xiao Yun. Xiao Yun hugged Tang Wan'er and cheered excitedly. Luna looked and saw her family, she smiled and said "Where's Cross?"

The group looked awkward. Long Chen said "I don't know." Luna tilted her head and looked at Feng Fei in the distance, glancing at her sword, a small smile appeared on her face.

Suddenly there was an enchantment but it couldn't be opened for the Humans. They all started blaming Long Chen and looked ready to attack. Long Chen looked up and smiled saying "Not too late."

The world rumbled and a hand stretched out from the void. Everyone looked up and turned white in fear. The hand grabbed space and tore a hole in the sky above the Human side.

Cross walked out of the void and looked down at the people, who were fierce a moment ago. His face was expressionless and his eyes were emotionless. His right arm was covered in black and gold runes and his eyes had changed.

The right eye was black with red rings and 3 golden stars on the rings, his pupil was a red ring and his iris was gold.

The left eye was gold with red rings and 3 black stars on the rings, his pupil was a red ring and his iris was black.

Jiu Li First Gen. Immortal Characters swam in the blacks and golds of both eyes.

The golden markings on his face glowed gold and were the same. He looked down at the people and said softly "Die." his voice was soft but it rang like gongs in the heads of the people, countless people who were going to attack Long Chen before, suddenly had their heads explode.

Long Chen's mouth formed an 'O' shape, he wasn't the only one. The rest were stunned as well. Cross' eyes flashed and all the corpses disappeared, everyone else backed off in fear. Cross floated down from the sky and touched down on the arena.

The entire arena shook and cracks forming under his feet. He walked to the middle of the arena, he looked up before lifting a fist and tearing space as he punched down, shattering the arena completely.

Everybody was stunned and Long Chen looked down saying "Pearl of Fate!" Guo Ran almost went crazy and Cross flashed back to the group. He swept his eyes over the group, he saw his family together and he smiled. Luna ran out and hugged him tightly, Cross smiled and hugged her. The rest tackled the duo.

Cross held them all before letting them go and saying "Long time no see." they all smiled and Cross said "Go, mix into formation. Hehe~ You'll see a good show today." Luna, Feng Xue'er, Jasmine, Elise, and Ying'er stood with Meng Qi, Tang Wan'er, Dongming Yu, Yu Qingxuan, Bai Shishi, and Ye Zhiqiu.

Zephyr, Pandora, Amelia, Lily, Artemis, Hong'er, Red, and Blue stood with the Dragon Blood Warriors. Cross was communicating with Luna with his soul and said "The baby?" Luna said "Still pregnant." Cross was confused and said "The bump?" Luna was also confused and said "Very small, I'm confused too. It's been months, I should be bigger or close to giving birth. It's still a fetus though."

Cross was silent and said anxiously "You're okay?" Luna smiled and said "Yes, my love." Cross let out a breath and stood with Long Chen, who said "What happened to you?" Cross said "Nothing good. I've been gone for years."

Long Chen was stunned and Cross stretched out his arm saying "I felt something calling me and went to a small building that was blended into the ruins. When I got inside there was only a single black tablet. I copied it and went to go look at it, doesn't it fucking suck me in!? I was in a black space for years, learning, stabilizing, improving, and getting stronger but I couldn't break through at all!"

Cross put down his arm and said "Aurora is an Immortal Weapon now, my techniques evolved, my eyes changed and are under complete control, and I merged my bones, blood, and root together. Also, the illusion on the stairs in the Lingxiao Palace place gave me the Jiu Li First Gen. Language. All the tablets in the Lingxiao Palace are in tablets in the Inner World now. Anyway, I was surrounded by the void for years. The space collapsed when the arena opened and I cleaned myself up, took a shower, got dressed and came over."

He sighed again and added "But the fucking place was locked! So, I had to tear my way inside! What an ordeal. Then, wouldn't you know it, but there's idiots here as well! Look at them now, they're so fucking stupid. They're charging into the obvious trap of Dark Beasts, honestly, how did they even get this strong with 0 brains at all!?"

He threw his hands up and said in a flurry "You know, I haven't had any human contact for years and I come out, not even knowing what year it is anymore, sure enough they're still as stupid as before. That moron thief is hiding over there with the Long Family idiots, scheming with his peanut sized brain, when he'll die from a single slap!"

Everybody in the group had their mouths wide open as Cross just talked nonstop. Luna scrunched her nose and muttered "Idiot..." Meng Qi laughed softly and Cross slapped out, turning a Dark Beast, and all the Dark Beasts and people in a line behind it, to dust.

Cross turned around and looked before saying "See? There's only 67 million people left in the group, the rest had big dreams and saved them for their next life by jumping head first into the Dark Beast horde!" he spat on the ground and pulled the air.

Feng Fei uncontrollably flew over and Cross threw her to Luna and Meng Qi's group before hooking his finger as the Jiang Family disciples merged into the group as Cross said "Dumb girl, what are you acting brave for?" he looked into the crowd and pointed "You fucking old man, surnamed Xu, when I get out of here, I'm going to rip you limb from limb!"

Long Chen smiled wryly and said "Enough?" Cross grinded his teeth and said "When I find the bastard that pushed me into the Tablet.. I'll kill 'im!" he looked behind him at the kids who were laughing, he said "You, why are you laughing? You think I don't know what you're thinking? 2 of you were snatched by thieves! The rest? Heh. I'm fucking locking you up!"

Lily and Amelia choked and the rest's faces turned sour, he snorted and turned back saying "Now I know how Bai Zhantang feels. I would've slapped you to death." Long Chen coughed and Bai Shishi choked.

Bai Zhantang in the crowd started laughing happily, making his 2 wives cover their faces in shame.
