Lingxiao War God Hall Master

Cross flew over with Xue'er in Bird form, perched on his head. He saw Long Chen and Bai Shishi embracing with a group of, soon to be dead, people sneering at them. Cross leaned forward and zoomed to the front of the group, he leaned back and pulled the sword surfboard up, spinning around before striking a pose and saying "The Invincible Immortal is here! Protecting Lovers and their privacy is my top priority! Slaughtering Young masters is a side business! Coincidentally, I have a deal with the King of Hell, as such reincarnation is free today!"

Long Chen laughed and Bai Shishi pursed her lips, Cross looked down at the group and said "Time to die! PLUS ULLLTRAAA!" As he threw a punch and obliterated the group of hateful people, collecting their rings and weapons in the process.

He zoomed off into the sky, shouting "Wherever Lovers embrace, I will be there to protect them! I am... The Immortal Matchmaker!" as he disappeared.

Bai Shishi said disdainfully "I see he hasn't changed." Cross appeared upside down in front of the duo with a grin saying "Actually, I like to believe I've changed a great deal. Your father, if I see him again.. Hmph! There'll be bumps on his bumps!"

Bai Shishi laughed and Cross said arrogantly "Heh! Stupid girl, don't fall in love with me. You're too barbaric." Bai Shishi choked and punched him in the face, Cross made a hole in his head and Bai Shishi went right through.

Cross moved and said "Remember, when she couldn't be bothered to help subdue the alligator? In the end she was overpowered by the alligator! Hahaha!" Long Chen bit his lips but the corners of his mouth curled.

Bai Shishi was enraged and attacked. Cross circled around her and tied her up, dragging her and Long Chen through the sky to the Lingxiao Academy tent.

Cross appeared in the air and flew in shouting "Law Enforcement Vice-Leader, Cross, reporting a case of insubordination!" everybody looked up and saw Cross dragging Bai Shishi on his shoulder and Long Chen in his hand, as he flew in on a sword with a bird on his head.

There were a ton of unrecognizable faces. Cross looked at them and said "What are you looking at!? Never seen a Handsome God before?!" Bai Leitang sighed and mumbled "I though I got rid of this god of plague already..."

Cross flew to the recognizable faces and said arrogantly "Disciple Bai Shishi has brazenly attacked myself! Shall I give her a spank, Dean?" Long Chen burst into laughter and Bai Shishi shouted "You dare!?" Bei Leitang almost coughed up blood.

Cross kicked the sword and it flew in a circle, attaching itself to his back as he landed on the ground. He walked over to Bai Leitang and said with a grin "Did you miss me, old man?" Bai Leitang spat "Roll."

Cross laughed and put Long Chen and Bai Shishi down before running off to the Inheritances and copying them with great gusto!

When he came back, he saw Bai Zhantang and immediately flashed over him and punching at his head. Bai Zhantang snorted and caught his fist, Cross said "Nani!?" before he was thrown into a building. He appeared in teh void behind Bai Zhantang and sneakily punched him in the head before landing on the ground and wearing a victorious smile as he said "Bumps on bumps, old man!"

Bai Zhantang said "You!" Cross grinned and moved, becoming illusory before punching Bai Zhantang in the bump, making another bump on top of the first bump. Cross dusted his hands and smiled widely saying "Yes, I AM a petty guy." Bai Zhantang was so angry he almost died.

Cross looked at the new guy and was startled as he said "Dr-" Long Chen covered his mouth and said with a smile "War God Hall master." the man smiled and nodded before leaving, Bai Zhantang and Long Chen stared at each other for a few minutes before Long Chen said "Um. Hi?"

Bai Zhantang almost coughed up blood and walked away in a bad mood. Suddenly, the Carefree alliance along with Luo Bing ran out. Cross looked but was disappointed as he didn't see Luo Ning. Luo Bing drilled into his chest and wailed "Brother-in-law... Sister.. The Luo family... they're all gone!"

Cross was stunned and held Luo Bing saying "Gone?" Luo Bing said "After the 3000 Worlds, the entire family disappeared. Uwu...." Cross patted her head and said "Don't worry, they're all alright. Luo Ning... She's alright too."

Luo Bing looked up with hope saying "You saw her!?" Cross blinked and said "Yeah! Expect to be an aunt soon." Luo Bing smiled like a blooming flower, giggling as she said "Brother-in-law, you're so bad! Heehee!" Cross smiled, but on the inside he was worried and felt awful. Lying to Luo Bing didn't feel good, he was also worried about Luo Ning.

He hadn't heard a single peep about her whereabouts. Or Lu Mingxuan's either. He was deeply worried about them, there was also Die Wu, Zephyr, Blue, White, Selena, Grey, and their kids. Xue'er felt his worry and softly coo'd.

Cross took a deep breath and smiled talking to Bai Xiaole and the rest. Bai Xiaole looked at Cross' pupils and was stunned as he said "What the fuck!" Cross grinned and said "Impressed? Felling inferior? Technically you're my brother-in-law, so I'll teach you a bit. En. That fox should listen too."

Bai Xiaole was stunned and said "What?! How did you know?!" Cross smashed his head saying "I can see him, idiot! Did your brain turn back to shit since we've been gone!?" Bai Xiaole held his head and cried "Ouch!"

Cross pulled him up and started explaining the eye techniques, telling him about how he can peep on girls very easily. He was almost killed by all the women there.

A while later

The group went to where people were screaming angrily. One guy said "This is bullshit! I thought the Lingxiao Academy was a good place but they don't even open the core area for everyone! What a joke!"

Cross walked over and gave the man a slap saying "You want to go to the core area? I'll take you all there, come follow me." before walking away. Long Chen was stunned and the group of people were startled but followed Cross.

Cross' figure was blurring as he walked, Long Chen pursed his lips. They came across a barrier and Cross looked back before saying seriously "Follow me. Remember to follow very closely, don't spread too far. Come close, the core area is very strange." he looked at Long Chen and his eyes fluctuated.

Long Chen stopped the group from Lingxiao Academy, holding Bai Shishi back. Bai Shishi was confused but stopped. Cross nodded at the yelling people and said "Good, come." before he started walking again, walking sideways like a crab, jumping over nothing, circling around, and stepping forward 3 steps before going back 2 steps and jumping side to side.

The group behind him was stunned but followed his movements.

Long Chen and the others watched from a far and Long Chen laughed, Bai Shishi said "What is he doing? There's nothing like that in the core area..." Bai Xiaole said "Obviously boss, saw the traps. Dumb girl." Bai Shishi said "You!" Long Chen said "Easy. Watch the show."

Cross kept walking and walked on his hands saying seriously "This is the last layer before we reach the Core area. Let me tell you, I read a few Inheritances here and some of them were even Immortal Techniques." someone said in awe "Immortal Techniques?!"

Cross nodded and said "Very hard to decipher. It's called..." he spoke in Draconian "You're falling into a pit of shit." The War God Hall master, who was watching from the shadows, spit out his tea and coughed, laughing to himself.

Long Chen was stunned and Bai Shishi said "What language was that?" Long Chen said "I don't know..."

Cross walked on his hands on a piece of suspiciously flat land. He went to his feet and said "That's the Inheritance I was talking about. Don't forget to tip your guide!" as he pointed to a wall with amazing visual art and held his hand out.

The people all gave him World King Crystals for a tip and Cross grinned before saying "To the wall, folks!" before walking normally on the ground. Everyone rushed forward excitedly and they all fell through the ground, splashing into a giant pit full of shit at the bottom.

Cross slapped his hands and everything changed, the wall disappeared, the ground disappeared, and revealed a giant pit with people shitting into it. Cross was standing on the air and walked back to the group before saying "Handsome?" Long Chen laughed and said "So much for just a latrine pit?"

Cross said "You have to add flair! Or else, how can you make someone willingly walk into a shit pit? I even told them what they were going to do beforehand." Bai Shishi asked "What did you say? What language was that?"

Cross replied "It was Draconian and I told them they were going to fall into a pit of shit." Long Chen said "You know Draconian?" Cross nodded and said "Of course. I also know, Elven, English, French, Russian, Parseltongue, Italian, Chinese, Japanese...." he spat out hundreds of different languages in one go.

Long Chen was stunned and Luo Bing asked "Brother-in-law, what's Parseltongue?" Cross said "Snake language. It's very hard too. You have to vibrate your tongue..." he gave them a demonstration and said some words, stunning the group.

Luo Bing was in awe and Bai Shishi said "So much useless information?" Cross said "Useless? Maybe for big chest no brain girls like you, but learning different languages is a very important skill! If you know Jiu Li Second generation language or first generation wouldn't you know the secrets of the past?"

He looked up at the sky and sneered "Unfortunately, even if you knew the secrets would you be able to say them? A big fucking joke this so-called Heaven is." thunder rumbled above him and he sneered harder saying "Mo Nian is on the right path as an Archaeologist."

Long Chen felt his mouth twitch and Cross added with a grin "Heaven doesn't want you to know the secrets, so wouldn't digging up ancient graves be a slap on the face? Hehe~" he turned around and looked into the pit he hooked his finger and the rings and weapons of the people flew up. Cross looked down and stole all their things as he said "In your next life, don't offend the Vice-Hall master of the Law Enforcement Hall."

He threw in a black lotus that cracked the void before a mountain of soil appeared over the hole and sealed it shut, burying all those people alive. The ground trembled and Cross patted the soil as he said "Hah! This is great!"

Long Chen and the rest shook their heads. Someone outside the Lingxiao academy territory shouted "Long Chen come out and die!" Cross went to copy the other inheritances from the Lingxiao Academy grounds, flying on the wooden sword again.

Xue'er chirped and flew off, landing on Bai Shishi's head. Xue'er patted Bai Shishi and chirped happily, Bai Shishi smiled and they went to see the commotion with Long Chen.

A while later

Cross flew around when the Hall Master of the War God hall said "Boy, come here." Cross stepped on the sword and cut through the air, flying to the Hall Master and saying "Yo!" the Hall master's mouth twitched into a smile as he said "You're very interesting. Unrelenting and Unyielding is a very dangerous path. So far, I haven't seen a single one of them survive."

Cross said "You've seen more people like me!?" The Hall Master replied "A long time ago." Cross was startled and replied "I hope I don't see any." The Hall Master smiled and said "Why not?" Cross said "Because then I'll have to kill them. If they're like me then we won't get along and fight over everything until one of us dies."

The Hall Master laughed and shook his head before saying "You haven't connected your Bones, Blood, and Roots. Before getting to the World King Realm you must do this, also..." his eyes narrowed as he added "1 give 2, 2 gives 3, 3 gives everything... But! Everything must return to Origin in the end."

Cross was dazed and stood there rooted to the spot, thunder rumbled in his head as the words repeated over and over. The Hall Master smiled and walked away. Cross mumbled "Return to Origin... Return to Origin..." his eyes got brighter and brighter as his expression grew excited.

He stomped on the sword and blasted off into the sky, disappearing from the Lingxiao Academy grounds completely.
