Mo Zhexi & Xu Wenwen (20)

She looked so beautiful that no one can take their eyes off her.

Xu Wenwen was proud of her friend and happy for her. She was emotional and was about to cry but she stopped herself.

Lu Jingyi looked at the mirror and spotted Xu Wenwen's eyes were red.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

"I'm not crying. This is my happy tears. I just happy for you because you found someone who truly loved you."

Lu Jingyi smiled gently and stood up. She stood in front of Xu Wenwen and helped her wiped her tears away.

"Thank you. You also have someone who truly loved you. So, don't cry. We'll be happy together. You and Zhexi are perfect for each other."

"I said I'm not crying. I was just trying not to let the tears fall and ruin my makeup."

"Ok, Ok. Let me help you with your makeup."

"Stop. Your the main character tonight. I'll do it myself."

Xu Wenwen then sat in front of the mirror and starting redoing her makeup. Lu Jingyi laughed silently and shook her head.

After finished fixing her makeup, she escorted Lu Jingyi to where she should be. She then went to the table assigned for her and sat down.

Mo Zhexi stood up and pulled the chair for her to sit. Xu Wenwen sat between Mo Zhexi and Mother Xu.

Mo Zhexi was supposed to sit with the Mo family and Lu family. But he wanted to sit with Xu Wenwen and so he changed table.

"Why did you sit here? Aren't you supposed to sit over there?"

Xu Wenwen pointing the direction of the table which Mo family and Father Lu sat there while asking.

"Well, I wanted to sit beside you. Or you could come with me to the main table."

"I don't think it's appropriate."

"You don't have to worry. My brother and Sister-in-law won't mind at all."

Mother Xu, on her daughter's side, heard their conversation. She interrupted their conversation.

"Wenwen, if you want to go, then go. Don't worry about us."

"But, I still think it's not appropriate for me to sit there."

"Well, Zhexi here, will take care of you. Won't you, Zhexi?"

"Of course, mother-in-law."

M-Mother? How can he called her mother-in-law? They're not married yet.

Mother Xu nodded in satisfaction of this future son-in-law. Seems like Mo Zhexi had been acknowledged by Mother Xu.

Xu Wenwen was speechless. Mo Zhexi then grabbed her hand and led her to the main table.

Father Xu saw Mo Zhexi and Xu Wenwen had got up and left. He was in confusion.

"Where are they going?"

"Oh, they're going to sit at the main table."

Fathet Xu was dumbfounded after Mother Xu answered him. He felt like his daughter was going to be snatched away from him.

When Mo Zhexi brought Xu Wenwen to sit at the main table, he told his mother her second daughter-in-law was going to sit with them.

Xu Wenwen blushed at his statement. She haven't married to him yet and he already claimed her to be the daughter-in-law of the Mo family.

Mother Mo's eyes were sparkled when she saw Xu Wenwen. Because it was the girl his son suddenly proposed marriage to her.

And she's also Lu Jingyi's friend.

"Come sit. Don't be shy. We'll be a family soon. Zhexi, quickly pulled the chair for her."

Mother Mo told Xu Wenwen to sit down and nagged Mo Zhexi to pull the chair for her to sit.
