"When you first came, to tell you the truth, I fell in love with you at first sight. Believe it or not, that was when I'm eleven years old."

Bewildered was seen on her face, she almost choked on the food she ate. He had loved her since eleven years old!? Fifteen years!?

Lu Jingyi was astonished. She had heard of this kind of psychological issue. It is a condition where one become obsessed with one person they think they may be in love with.

They might feel the need to 'protect' their loved one obsessively, or even become controlling of them as if they were a possession.

"After that, her family always hired a psychiatrist to look at her condition from time to time. My family was worried about me and decided to sent me to my maternal grandparents overseas for a few days. Unfortunately, when I arrived at overseas, I was kidnapped and was rescued after five years later."

"What!? You were kidnapped for five years!? How did you survive?"

Lu Jingyi eyes were filled with concern. Being kidnapped for five years were enough to destroy one's will to live. And he was just an eleven years old child.

Mo Zhexuan saw the concerning in Lu Jingyi's eyes. His heart melted and he smiled gently to calm her down.

"I'm fine. Look at me now. Anyway, after all those years, when I was rescued, Lan Xing volunteered to stay by my side. It's true she helped me a lot but I rather not owe her anything. I make sure to repay everything what I owe her. Rest assured, I don't owe her anything now. I have repaid everything by giving her a career."

Lu Jingyi nodded. Although Lan Xing was just trying to 'protect' Mo Zhexuan and wanted to be with him, she shouldn't have scheme against her. She would pay a tooth by a tooth to those who harmed her.

"Even all these years, Lan Xing got treated by psychiatrist. Her condition was better than before. Still, it would be best not to trigger her. And that said, the atmosphere in the dining table became gloomy but soon became cheerful when Lu Jingyi suddenly shrieked softly after she ate a sweet-licous dessert.

The dessert made her so satisfying. A glutton she was. Mo Zhexuan gloomy mood turn to a happy one when he saw Lu Jingyi was enjoying the dessert. The blissful on her face set the atmosphere heartwarming.
