Today had been wild and I hadn't even gotten the opportunity to apologize properly to Alana .

"Maxy , listen to me" Delilah continued to talk my ear off way after Alana left my office.

"I'll be back " I left the office unable to bear her constant blabbing.

I walked towards Alana's office with the aim of at least asking if everything was okay between us .

I mean we had almost kissed and that was way against work ethics .

I made a mental note to knock on every unopen door and wait till I'm invited in.

I opened Alana's door and was met with she and Jaden in a very comfort position.

I quickly apologized and walked out of the office .

Luckily for me , I wasn't given much time by nature to mope as my secretary's call interrupted me .

"Sir , there's someone on the line . They say it's very urgent " She informed me .

I made my way to my office confused as to what it was that was so important that this anonymous person couldn't tell my secretary.
