Left for dead

Wen, Helen, and the other of Kein journeymates still didn't accept Asip decision. They are trying to persuade Asip to help Kein. But Asip sticks with his decision.

"I can't take risk my life, my friend's life, to save him. Didn't you see the giant threw a half of building to Kein until him buried in it?" Asip said as he staring sharply to Wen.

"So you will not help him? He is our asset, Asip. Without him, we can't go so far. Our journey will be stucked. The city wouldn't be reached if we let our friend left for dead!" Wen replied as he staring fiercely at Asip.

"Don't force me to do that! I still want to live. The giant is still there, keeping the ruins that burries Kein. We can't face the giant. If we do that, we will die for nothing." Asip sticks in his decision.

"So, I will go alone to help him. Helen and the other will be coming with you, Asip. Take care them. I am going to help Kein," Wen talked as he going back to the road before.

Asip chases Wen then grabbing the man's collar. Wen fights back.

"Don't stop me! If you wanna leave, just leave!" Wen shouted as he pushing back Asip.

"I will not let you going to the death. Losing Kein, Marvin and the others is enough for me. Don't add another victims!" Asip said loudly while trying to prevent Wen to go.

"All of you, please stop! Your quarrel will not solve Kein problem!" a woman said while mediating Asip and Wen quarrel.

"I know, Marsha. I know! But let me prevent him to go to his death. The giant is a great trouble. Everyone will not survive after fighting it," Asip talked to the woman named Marsha.

"Just let me die after helping Kein! You are coward, just standing without action. It's very embarrasing!" Wen said fiercely while leaving the place.

"Fuck!" Asip swore without effort to chase Wen.

"Wen, where are you going?" Helen shouted when looking Wen goes hurry.

"Stay on your feet, maam. Don't try to follow him. He is going to slay the giant. It will be the doom for him," Asip talked as he leaving Helen.

"Hei," Helen only gave a short shout.

Whereas Wen who tried to find Kein in order to help him, just standing after taking a wrong path. Instead of him arriving to the sector where Kein is there, he had entered a strange sector with many damaged armored car.

"Crap! What's happening here? Why didn't I find where Kein is? Am I lost?" Wen muttered as he viewing the area fulled by damaged armored cars.

Wen saw many soldiers corpses with their guns still on it. Wen can expected that the corpses are the sleeping zombie. So he went away from the area. He didn't want to wake the zombie soldiers up.

"My compass is broken. My smartphone had been stolen when I lived in Edgard City wall. This is the time to find a right path. Maybe I won't be wrong again." Wen went back as he hearing every grunts heard in this area.

Wen realized that he had unintendedly awakened the zombies. When looking at back, the zombie soldiers are awakening while grunting then grabbing it's weapons.

"Holy crap! They can use weapon? This is unbelievable!" Wen runs away in dread.

Wen is still running away although several zombie soldiers can run so fast like a cheetah. But the fast runner zombies don't carry weapon.

Wen is in great trouble. This will be his ending if there is no miracle which will save his life. But Wen found a point of light front of him. The point of light is a war truck with a big circular saw which is still spinning with a loud sound.

Wen felt curious when seeing the truck. Who is the person that left the truck with the engine running. Wen saw several footsteps track behind the truck. Apparently the owner of the truck ran before his coming.

Wen heard grunts of zombies are getting closer. So, he comes to the truck in. Then he prepares to drive the truck.

Suddenly, a shout heard.

"Hei, you! Get out from the truck! She gonna blow!"

Wen surprised then looking to the shouting source.

A man with two rifles is pointing the weapons at Wen position. He isn't alone. Several men that wearing military uniform are with the man.

Wen jumped to the ground then going away from the truck. But two soldiers are going to chase him while shouting.

"Stay on the ground! Don't move!"

The two soldiers are approaching to Wen who stopped his movement.

"Drop your weapon! Don't try to fight back!"

Wen dropped his weapon then looking to the soldiers.

"You are the Narahita soldiers? What are you doing here, in this country?" Wen asked curiously.

The two soldiers didn't answer. They checked on Wen instead. They took every items that found from Wen bag or pocket.

"Kneel!" a soldier scolded Wen then he hitting Wen's back.

"Why did you do this? Your presence here is illegal, right?" Wen protested.

"Shut up! You must know, your country now is no more! Your government has shut down. Narahita is now the owner of this country," the man who leads the military forces talked as he coming closer to Wen.

Sfx : a big explosion occured when the zombie soldiers were reaching the circular saw truck

The truck blew then burning all of the soldier zombies which approached it. Ground trembled when the truck blew.

"What have you done to my country? Gloria is a good model for democracy. It wasn't like your country, the dictatorship state!" Wen talked angrily when knowing about condition of Gloria.

"What did you say? Say again. Say again!" the man talked then shouting front of Wen's face.

"Your presence here is a great mistake! You claimed Gloria as your country's own. That can't be forgiven. Your country has invaded my country. It showed that your country is a dictatorship state!" Wen said fiercely.

Sfx : Bukkkk

The man hits Wen's back until him falling face down.

"Bring him to base. We have to lock him up," the man ordered his men to bring Wen to a place.

In Lightwood City, sector one, where Kein still trapped under balcony ruins which was thrown by the giant zombie.

Kein is still conscious although he has trapped for hours. He is still live although the giant had ever stomped the ruins where he is.

Kein is still waiting for the creature go. His wait finally fruitful by the leaving of the giant. But, the problem is he can't lift the ruins up. So, he still can't get out from the ruins.

"Damn, I can't get out here. Maybe I will die here. Not die by the zombies but starving." Kein keeps trying to lift the ruins up.

While trying to lift the ruins, Kein heard someone comes to the ruins which trapped him. The someone looks like to get rid the ruins. The someone then succeeds to get rid many ruins. Then Kein sees who the someone is.

"It's you. Thank you very much," Kein said as he looking at the girl who saved him.

"I owed you one. Now, we break even," the girl talked as she smiling bitterly.
