Labyrinth - Train me!

Noticing Aurelia clenching her fist. Zireael drew mute. Deciding not to speak, he eyed the other two children, "I don't sense many monsters but do be careful."

"Rising from off the fridged soil, Ella shivered, her body drenched from piercing through the waterfall, "We do not have a weapon, do have any?"

Replying with glowing eyes, Zireael spoke, "I do, but there are some dead bodies up ahead. Let's just go. Aurelia will lead, or do you have a problem with that?"

Shaking her head, Ella suddenly slapped Aurelia's shoulder, "Don't worry. I know it's not your fault." She gently comforted.

"Yeah! Zireael just wanted to scare us!"

'Scare?' Duke Blackwater reluctantly muttered to himself, confused where they got that idea. 'I was going to let them die, but I guess that works.'

A/N: Such a dick!

Biting her lips, Aurelia nodded, relieved, taking the leave when a silver ball of light appeared just above her head. Turning to Zireael, Aurelia frowned; raising her staff, she silently cast the alarm spell.

Feeling a hidden sensation of awareness, she noticed the approving glint from Zireael. Shifting her attention towards the brightly lit cave, Aurelia took the lead. She did not head fast as she could not see any more than twenty meters.

The hidden cave was moist and narrow with a soft leaking noise of water tricking by, but as the group of children began to progress, the narrow cave started to expand.

"Wow," Aurelia muttered to herself, taking in all the magnificent sights of the mini circular puddles within the cave. Listening to the drops of water echo, She turned to her starstruck allies.

"It's so pretty, "Ella whispered, dipping her hands into the little puddles.

"This is the process of erosion after thousands of years. When water continues to hit the solid earth of Alos, the rock will begin to dwindle or erode. Causing these small puddles will continue to grow endlessly." Zireael patiently explained, enjoying the view.

"is that how rivers are made?" Sionn asked, gazing at the silver reflection of the lake.

"Some of them. Nature is a powerful force, but so is the power of man."

Spending a little time there, the group continued on before they came upon a set of a dozen skeletons. Their clothing was nothing but rags due to wear and tear; however, by their bodies stood tons of weapons to use.

Picking up a rusted shortsword perfect for her height, Ella notice Aurelia and Sionn follow in suit. Sionn, however, picked up a sword and shield.

"You know how to fight?" Zireael casually asked, neither caring if he lived or died.

"A little, Vala taught me; I even started cultivation. It's just I am only at the first stage of body refinement. I have no affinity with magic like Aurelia."

"So you are not useless interesting," Said Zireael squinting his eyes observing something hidden within the darkness. Not saying anything, the group armed up, setting off.

Feeling more comfortable with a sword and staff within her hands, Aurelia childishly grinned, "Let's go!"

"Then let me lead!" Sionn offered, "I have a shield. So I can take a hit or two."

Nodding in agreement, Aurelia suddenly turned to Ella, "Can you stay in the middle? I will stay at the end to guard the rear."

"That's fine," said Ella without much thought.

Setting off once again, with Sionn leading, Zireael did not say anything. He had approved of their actions for the most before deciding to help out, casting alarm on both Ella and Sionn.

Noticing his action, AUrliea gasped, "I forgot I could do that!"

"Well, next time you know, you have comprehended the most spells; it's your job to buff everyone. Sionn can take a hit, but you and Ella are different." Zireael casually uttered, following behind Ella.

"So, can you teach me how to fight? and cast spells?" Sionn asked, not daring to take his eyes off the darkness ahead with his rusty shield.

Pondering in silence for a moment, ZIreael smiled, "That is up to you. Your talent in magic is shit, but you may be a monster when it comes to Arcane Skills. They use Arcana but in different ways than magic.

"No fair, you never taught me anything like that before!" Aurelia shouted, glaring towards Zireael. "Teach me that too."

"Me too!" added Ella, gleefully smiling.

"I was, but Sionn, unlike you two, needs to prove himself. This labyrinth is strange, but I want you to lead us through without dying. If you do, I do not mind training you like aurelia and Ella.

Shaking in excitement, pulling at his skin, Sionn beamed in joy, "That's a deal! watch me do it!" He confidently said, grinning ear to ear.

However, his footsteps suddenly stopped as his gaze fell upon the shadow ahead. Noticing Sionn had stopped and how his body tensed, aurelia silently cast featherfoot upon the group. Growing a little pale, Zireael decided to help.

"Not every fight needs buffs; you need to gauge a battle before and during to know when to cast buffs. Now we will have to wait for you to recover after this battle."

Knowing he was right Aurelia, lowered her head, understanding her mistake. While Sionn silently drew closer to a strange creature stabbing its long tongue into the bloody flesh of a leach the size of a large man.

Not in the least bothered by the bloody sight, Sionn felt his heart beating against his chest the closer he drew.

Not hearing a thing due to Aurelia's featherfoot, the large purple toad twice the size of a man continued to gorge itself while Ella and Sionn suddenly shot forth. Nimbly leaping into the air, Ella stabbed down into his head while Sionn slashed at its neck.

Before it could do anything, the toad dropped, dying before it could react. However, a chilling haze arose, sending shivers upon Sionn and Ella, when all of a sudden, Sionn pushed his body in front of Ella, raising his rusty shield in haste. Towards the blur of darkness striking him with a decisive thud.

Groaning in serious pain, he, alongside Ella, was blasted away, their bodies skidding over the damp caves. Discerning the faded image of another giant toad appearing from the shadows, Aurelia charged into combat. A golden black Arcana covered her like flames when she suddenly twisted her body as her focused golden eyes took note of the long tongue flicking in and out, striking with the swiftness of a snake.

Weaving from side to side, Aurelia frowned, noticing she could not get close. Scrunching her brow Sionn who had recovered, roared, rushing with his sword and shield."Hit the tongue when it hits my shield!" he shouted when all of a sudden, Ella appeared from behind him, shadowing his movements like an assassin.

Noticing the blur about to strike, Ella's eyes glimmered with radiance as she swung at Sionn's shield. Bathing Sionn's shield in a mist of blood, the toad screaked in agony.

However, Aurelia had already covered the necessary ground slitting its throat with a clean sweep of her blade. Feeling it was not enough, her blade pierced through its brain, killing it instantly.
