Chapter 7

Jason's POV

I stepped out of the elevator walking towards her desk, she looked up her eyes meeting mine flashing me a smile.

"Roses." She said softly as I handed them to her.

"And food." I whispered and her smile brightened.

"Okay you've got me, but Starr isn't as easy."

"None of you are." I whispered and she smiled as a man walked up.

"Cassidy, I think I might need to reschedule dinner tonight." He said.

"Alright just text me." She replied and he flashed her a smile as he walked off.

"Who was that?" I asked watching the man a sense of possessiveness over taking me, which I wanted desperately not to show.

"David, I think Starr is finished with her meeti-"

"Is he your friend?"

"He-wait are you jealous?" She asked smiling and I chuckled.

"Nevermind, can we go see Starr." I said and she laughed slightly, leading the way she pushed the door open and Starr looked up her eyes going to us.

"Did David tell you about dinner?" Starr asked and Cassidy looked back at me smiling.
