I Missed You

"So, have you told her the truth yet?" Pete asked Eric as they both walked out of the plane after they arrived at Lagos. I mean, does your wife know who you are now?" 

"No. Not yet. But I plan on doing so really soon," Eric said as he took out his phone to give Kimberly a call.

He wished she had called him to tell him about what was happening to her, but he could also understand that she was feeling very sad. Maybe she could have tried his number while he was on the plane, so he couldn't blame her too much. 

"Oh! That's great, then. I wish you good luck," Pete said as he tried to order a bolt ride.

He couldn't call Chidi to pick him up since he wanted to surprise them. He was already looking forward to seeing the surprise on Kathleen's face. 

"Thank you. See you another time, and my regards to your best friend and the ladies," Eric said with a wave as he walked away from Pete.
