"That stupid girl that broke your heart? The one you made me pay her fees for three years, yet she left you for older men?" She asked, making Eric wince. 

"Yeah." 

"What about her? Don't tell me you're still interested in her," His mother asked harshly. 

"No. I'm not. The thing is, I found out she's married to Kimberly's father." 

"What? When did you find out?" she asked with a frown.

"Mom, that isn't the point right now. The thing is, she's acting all silly and coming close to me, asking me to forget the past so we can move on..."

"Move on? I don't understand. What does she mean, move on?" His mother asked angrily.

"Mummy, calm down, na. I'm not done. You're angry already," Eric said with a chuckle.
