The Village VIII: True Feelings

I wiggled my toes as I watched fire dancing on the wood. In my hands, I held a warm cup, and wrapped around my body was a warm blanket given by Gin.

The rain hasn't stopped pouring, but this helps fill in the silence. I sneezed for the nth time, then sniffled. My throat felt dry. That I might get a sore throat.

"Here, have some more water," Gin held a kettle while I moved closer to him. I watched the water flow out of the kettle. Then felt my cup warming my hands.

"Thank you," I blew the steam off before taking a sip.

I watched the rain pouring down, then felt a gaze looking at me. I traced the gaze which was owned by Gin. Our eyes met, but he didn't have any reaction, which made me feel weirded out. Is there something he wants to ask?

"Do you have something to say?" I asked him, and he shook his head. "Are you sure?" I asked him for the last time, and he nodded his head, then he sneezed out loud.
