Chapter 46

Blake gives Kai a concerned look when he limps into class. He walked past two other boys on the volleyball team and they were barely walking up straight, hanging onto each other for support, walking to class at the same time.

"What happened to you?"  He asks with a sly smirk on his face.

Kai takes a seat at his desk, "I don't know either. One minute it was volley ball, the next it was a war for survival.

"I think I broke my blood cells. Every last one in my body," Kai winces, "My white blood cells are now red I tell you."

Blake laughs, "We have a lot of teams lined up to play you guys this season. The volleyball tournament is coming up too. Everyone wants their own schools to be visited by Tachibana."

Kai nods along aching, "Please don't talk about sports, I quit the team. I have extra classes after school I can't do sports anymore."

Blake cocks a brow, "Do tell." He sits on the side of his desk waiting for the other students to come in.
