Aubree is laying in bed cuddled up with Malik when the sun seeps through the curtains. She opened her eyes, trying to focus her sight. When she looked over she seen Malik still sleeping. When sh sat up in the bed she noticed she was naked and covered with bruises and cuts, but they were healing already. She stood up and looked in the mirror and that's when she saw the mark on her and she just stood there in shock. It really did happen, it seemed like a perfect dream, she thought to herself. She walked back to the bed and laid down facing him, admiring every inch of his face. Well this is my mate for life? I really don't mind, he's quite handsome and a great lover, I guess I can live with him being my heart, as she smirked and started rubbing his hair. I guess Tatiyana was right, her feelings toward him multiplied by 10, she just wanted to be close to him. He slowly started waking up, he peeke his eyes open and seen she was still here. He smiled, " Good morning beautiful, are you ready for another round?" She blushed as she removed the sheet from her body , " I thought you would be exhausted after last night, but if you're up to it..." He looked at her, " I'm never too tired for you my dear, you will learn that over time". He climbed on top and straddled himself on her as he looked her body up and down. That's when he saw it, his mark, he stared at it with pride. All his doubt and fear was was now answered. He knew she was his and he was hers, no matter how upset she got with him or vice versa, they would still be together. He leaned down to kiss her as his hands start to explore her body. They were just about to go for another round when Aubree heard a voice in her head, "Are you fucking kidding me?" she thought. She stopped him and began to start dressing, " I'm going to have to take a raincheck, my little sister needs to talk to me,'' as she walked over to kiss him. "Maybe we can go out to town this evening when your done with duties". He sat up in the bed and grabbed her arm to pull her to the bed, "As long as we end up right back here I dont care where we go,'' as he kissed her. She stood back up and began to walk out his chamber, " There is no telling where we end up at the end of the night", then walked out.

Aubree POV

I was walking down the corridor with only one person on my mind, Malik. I miss him already, I just want to run back and get back in bed with him. These feelings are so strong, how in the hell Lynia take it? Well at least from the beginning, she was much younger than me. When I reached my chamber, guess who is standing there? I'm still a little tired and sore from last night, I need a hot bath and a little more rest. I looked at her, " I swear you get up pretty early for you not to be a morning person". My dear younger sister, if she ever needs me, I will be there, but she is a little needy lately. She looked me up and down then smirked, " It looks like you had fun last night, I wonder who you were with". I walked around her and walked into my chamber, " I need to bathe and put on some clean clothes, either you can stay out here and wait r you can come in a we can talk while I get ready". She started to walk into my chamber still smirking, " So your just going to ignore my question? Don't try to change the subject Aubree". I knew where she was going but I was not in the mood to talk about that, the only thing I want to do is get back with Malik. I walked to my bureau and grabbed my clothes, then I went to run my bath water while she was still mumbling. After I took my clothes off and sank my body in the hot water, I wondered what she wanted. "What did you want? What was so important that you disturbed me?" I heard her walk closer to the bathroom door, " You have to do what was discussed about Cassandra as soon as possible. We are leaving in three weeks time and everything has to be in place". I couldn't even concentrate on what she was talking about, I kept rewinding my night with Malik, dammit what the hell. "Ok, when I finish my breakfast I will start working on her". I stepped out of the tub and put a towel around me, I knew she was still out there because she wanted her question answered. I moved my so it would cover my mark and walked out and looked at her, " I think im old enough to go out and have fun without you always in my business". She turned toward me with a questioning look on her face, " You've never been so defensive before", as she zoomed over to me so fast before I know it, she snached the towel off.

Tristan POV

When I woke up my love was already up and out, dam. I got up and got dressed I guess to begin my day. I don't know why father sent for Marina, she is trouble and I know she's going to cause trouble. I was walking down the corridor when I ran into Malik, just the vampire I've been looking for. "Hey, I was just about to come to your chamber to get you. We have to meet with Lord Cletus and my father, also my father sent for my ex so be warned so shit might go crazy the next couple of weeks". He gave me a funny look, "It's always some crazy shit going on in this castle, so that's nothing new,'' as he laughed. He seemed so different this morning, much happier, I guess he had a good night with Aubree. At least someone had a good night, I'm still a little irritated about getting interrupted. We walk until we reached the study door and when he walked in, I seen scratches and bite marks on his neck. They were almost healed, but I saw them clearly. No one was there yet so I decided to mess with him for a bit. I walked over to the desk and leaned on it as I crossed my arms, " How was your last night?" I guess I caught him off guard because he had a nervous look, " It was good, no great. You know how females are", as he laughed and pulled his collar up to cover his bruises. I laughed too, but he thinks he is slick, I know he mated with is bloodmate, that's the only time you have the "love bruise". " You know Malik, I've known you for many years and I never seen bruises left on you before" I started to walk closer to him, "Now do I have to finish my interrogation, or are you going to just tell me? I don't want to know all the dirty details, just tell me her name". He just looked, " How did you know?" I just smirked," I know it's been awhile since i've mated with Lynia, but I still remember those bruises". He stood there for a moment in shock, " I think we should reveal everything together". Isn't that so cute, I remember those days, but everyone knew Lynia and I were together. Malik on the other hand, we're never met her, he just came back and he was mated,so yeah I'm curious. "Well let me see your mark and see if I can guess. I'm just curious, look I promise I won't tell anyone". He hesitated pulled his arm out of the sleeve and there it was dead smack on his upper arm. It was his sword with a whip wrapping around it, it was quite beautiful, but all marks are. I stared at the whip, studying it and then it hit me! As soon as I gasped in shock, My father, Dez and Max walked in. He hurried to put his sleeve back in signaled me to stay quiet. I cant believe this shit, how in the fuck is she his bloodmate, thats incredible! I can't wait to rub it in her face, she told me she would never have one. As my father began to talk, I just stood there in shock, I really had to pay attention to the plan, but as soon as it's over, Malik and I will have a little brotherly chat.

Marina is standing on the balcony in her room pissed off about last night events. How in the fuck did that little girl best her and her little friend that disrespected her. Her mind is planning her revenge, these half breeds thinking they could take Tristan and Dez from them. She whistled and a bird flew from the cloud and landed on the balcony. She folded up a piece of paper, put it in an envelope and secured it on the bird, " Take this to Kyra, immediately". The bird flew up and took off with lightning speed As she stood there with a devilish grin on her face.
