Hello everyone, part 2 of Homecoming, but I renamed it to Homerun instead... :-)
Happy New Week everyone, please do enjoy so...

His surprise was interrupted by the guitarist of 'No Doubt' Band who nudged him to play the intro.
The drummer gave the signal to both of them which they replied with a nod.
He skillfully pressed the tune of the keyboard with his fingers and the electric melody started to lead the party animals to their habitat.
The catchy melody made the younger generation tapped their feet while the elders who knew the music was already dancing beforehand, adding that when Al started to sing, everyone hysterically screamed because they didn't know that his voice was so good.
Al made his voice a bit light and raspy than his previous singing voice, which had a low tone and heavy when he sang in the live aid.
One reason was, to make his voice not look like Alphonse Brandt, and the other because the song was more in tune with it.
[ We get it on almost every night ]
[ When that moon is big and bright ]
Al raised his hand and everyone also followed him raising hands, he was like a military drummer who marched to their enemy in war.
"Now everyone!!" He shouted so everyone could sing along with him. A mixture of enthusiastic, whether it was the elders or the youngster's voices was filling the hall.
[ Dancing in the moonlight ]
[ Everybody's feeling warm and bright ]
[ It's such a fine and natural sight ]

They cheered in a frenzy after Al finished the song, "Encore! Encore!" One person shouted then started to be followed by everyone else.
He turned his head backstage and saw that the vocalist from this band was clapping her hands and cheering on them, she and the other one seemed to have recovered from their food poisoning.
He waved his arm to her and gestured her to come to the stage and singing with him.
She was surprised when he did that, she thought that he wanted to continue his performance, which was usually a guy would do right? Became a hero of the day, and became a popular guy in the school.
Of course, as a woman in this era, she was lucky to be able to become a vocalist of a band that was composed of men with the support of her fellow band member.
She smiled at him and started to climb up the stage to meet him.
Her golden hair shone brightly under the glimpse of the stage's light. She had such a lovable face and the way her lip smiled was like a smirk that provoked him to taste it.
Al came to greet her with a hug, her face redden like a tomato when he did that. "Did you feel better?" She nodded and they both shook their hands.
"Can I have the honor to know this lovely looking girl's name?" He asked with his hand still holding hers.
"Uh-um, Gwen, my name is Gwen Stefani, and you are...?"
She was stuttering and had such naivety behind that high-pitched voice that any man would find it childish, but for him instead, deepened the interest he found in her.
Of course, Al very knew well who this girl was. Who didn't in the next 10 years?
"Just call me Ed then. By the way, you said your name is Gwen right? Like Gwen Stacy?"
She didn't know who Gwen Stacy was, and Al could guess it from the expression painted on her face. "She was Spiderman's girlfriend."
That made her even more confused, so he added, "He was a superhero comic book."
"Ohhh." She repeatedly nodding at him. He shook his head in amusement at her cute behavior.
"Stop flirting with her and gave us the encore!" One of the senior yelled at him, his words also got the agreement from everyone else.
"Well, she's too gorgeous to be left alone!" He replied the senior, then Al turned to Gwen who blushed from his flirting, "Looks like it's our showtime."
He gave a sign for the band members to gather. "Are you guys can play 'Holding Out for a Hero'?"
They smiled at him, "I'll take that as a yes, okay let's go 'No Doubt'!"
They started to play the song and the crowd started to get wild again.
[ I need a hero ]
[ I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light ]
[ He's gotta be sure and it's gotta be soon ]
[ And he's gotta be larger than life, larger than life ]
(Tribute to Holding Out for a Hero by Bonnie Tyler)
After playing some 80s popular songs, Al and Gwen finished their performance with a slow rhythmic song by 10cc, 'I'm Not In Love' which tells about a boy who was in denial about loving someone because he was afraid to get hurt.
But the way they sang it was so beautiful and romantic, couples started to fill the hall, and the pink energy flooded in every direction.
Al saw his friends were busy dancing with their dates. He was also surprised to find Ione was dancing with Robin, while her date, Jerry was drinking a punch in frustration with the rest of the single guys. They were sitting at the table in the corner of the hall.
Poor guy, He must be scared shitless by Robin. He should've expected it, any guy would be intimidated by her if she dressed like that, he even called it the 'Virgin Killer Dress'.
The homecoming party finally ended, the band began to pack their things up and called it a day.
Al approached Gwen who was busy helping her fellow band members, "Gwen! Can I have a way to reach you somehow?"
Gwen was startled by his question, they were just met this night and he wanted to ask her out?
Blood started to rush into her face and her guitarist whistled at them both. Realized that he was being misinterpreted by them, he quickly added.
"Sorry, I think my question got you the wrong idea. What I mean is, Gwen you are a great singer and all of you performed great tonight. I want to ask you if there is a way to contact your band. I knew some recording company that could give you all the opportunity to move into bigger stages."
Al saw their mouth widened like they could have swallowed an egg. Gwen at first felt down when he said he didn't mean to ask her out, but she was brought back to cloud nine again when she heard him about the record label.
Of course, they wanted to, only hypocrites wouldn't want their bands to become famous. After Tony Kanal, the band bassist gave him the band's contact, they said farewell to each other.
But before they separated, Al discreetly approached her and asked her phone number which she happily gave him.
He promised her to give her a call someday and she replied to him with a nod while staring at the ground.
That didn't go unseen by her fellow band members because he somehow could feel the animosity that came from Tony Kanal.
Al smiled seeing them left, he suddenly got an idea to make his recording label company when he saw these guys.
The 90s was a golden era for the entertainment industry, which also includes the music departments and he didn't want to miss the opportunity to make fortune from it.
After the homecoming party was over, the hall was devoid of any souls, Al took a seat on the bench outside while looking at Robin and Ione who was saying farewell to each other.
Robin parted with Ione, escorted by Jerry who became meek at Robin's bloodlust. She made sure he didn't do anything to Ione on their way home.
He waved his hand at them and Robin came over and seated next to him.
"You seemed interested in that blonde? Wait, let me count first, Vivian, Coco, Sandra, Jodie, Mary, Kristy..." Al shot a look at her when she mentioned Kristy, how the hell she knew that.
"...gosh that's a lot. If all of them meet, you could create the Californian wildfire!"
Then she continued to mention some names he knew, "Ione, Drew, Jolie, the girl from before... and me." He looked at her in surprise.
She laughed at his shocked face, "If only you are a girl, I would have marked you for a long time E.D."
"Please don't, I don't want you to piss all over me."
She stood up, "You think I am a bitch? Let's go, I don't like your car, let's use Llamrei." He smiled at that.

Robin pushed the entrance of her room and let herself drowned in her queen-sized mattress.
There was a band-aid plastered on the corner left of her temple. Al and his stupid idea, even she questioned her sanity when she agreed to do it.
He convinced her to ride in front of the bike like ET. But not a minute after the bike was moving, an accident happened, his bike lost balance and both of them landed beautifully on the ground.
When they arrived at her house, both of them were scolded by her parents because of their stupidity.
Weird thing was, smiles were written on her parent's faces because, for the first time, they saw their daughter was beaming happily.
'Stupid Al, why you were not born a girl!' She covered her face with a pillow and began to scream silently.
Back to our favorite jerk, Al, who stood up in front of his room while frowning. He could hear noises came from his room, not one, not two, but like a Disney Playhouse.
He opened the door and gasped. He saw all of the kids were messing up his things, such as song sheets, novel manuscripts, drawings, movie scripts, etc.
He was not stupid, he won't put his private and secret stash in the room without safety measures.
He didn't mad at them, more like worried. Some of his works were not meant for kids to read.
"Okay, who had an idea to turn my room into a kindergarten?" While the kids were surprised seeing Al entered the room, they still had time to point their fingers at Laura who squirmed in fear.
"Y-you told me that you will talk to Mary, your promise has been 2 months overdue. I-I demand compensation. A-and your room has a lot of good stories insides, so I think we're even..." She shrieked in fear when she saw Al squinted his eyes.
She hid behind Toby who laughed awkwardly. In high school, both of them had become classmates, and also they had entered puberty since the last time he saw them.
Toby was at least 170 cm tall or more, as for Laura, she was the definition of an American Blonde Bombshell.
Girls tend to grow faster than boys, she grew at least 175 cm in height, her high cheekbone face lost her baby fat, and her body was what the scientist called "A Golden Ratio".
But that didn't change the way he sees her as a trouble maker, and gossip queen.
Before he could speak, he heard a knock. Everyone thought that it must be Mrs. K.
He opened the door and found out the one who knocked on the door was Mary.
"Hey, Al, you know I need your help to arrange some things in the Muspelheim office..." Her words stopped when she saw everyone was present in his room.
"Kids? Isn't this already past your curfew?" She crossed her arms in her moderate-sized bust.
'This is our chance' Laura gave him signs with her face.
'Not the time Laura!' He replied the same way as her.
'But you promised!'
'Let's do this tomorrow, in the office and you came with me.'
'Why me? Ask Toby, he is the one who wants to work with you.' Before Al could answer, Mary, cut them off.
"Do both of you think that talking about me with a sign I didn't understand, right in front of my face is polite?" She grunted.
"Yes, Mary, let's talk about this tomorrow because I'm really tired, please let me rest for this night?" Al begged.
She sighed and told everyone to go back to their room.
When everyone started to leave their room, Al saw that Laura left with a manuscript in her hand.
Al grabbed her wrist and stared at her menacingly. She ran away in fear and dropped the novel manuscript in her hand.
Al shook his head in amusement. He took the manuscript that fell on the floor and his face was frozen in fear after seeing the title.
"50 Shades of Grey"
He hurriedly went out of his room and chased after her.
