The next safe house is an old hospital." Ellie tapped a spot on the table map. "It's only half a day so we should get moving soon."
"Wait, we're leaving? Where are we going?" Brooke asked.
"Ellie says there's a Sanctuary in the Northwest. She laid out a path for us to take by jumping from one safe house to the other until we get there," Tom said.
"And how long is that supposed to take?" Brooke asked.
"Ninety-eight days," Ellie answered.
"That's more than three months!"
"That is three point one six months."
"Oh shut up. You mean that we will be traveling from safe house to safe house for months. Do you know how dangerous that is? How much radiation we're going to get?" Brooke stood up and held the back of her chair.
