Kingdra

Just like Shelgon, Feraligatr had also received its rank-up condition. Due to 'Elemental Overgrowth', the rate of its progress was unusually high. 

For Feraligatr, there were only 2 conditions:

All of its stats should be S rank. One of its moves should be above level 40

It had not been able to complete any of it. It had recently ranked up to an uncommon rank, so it was taking some time to reach a rare rank. Axel had no problem with it. He was happy to take it slow. 

Feraligatr had already been able to create a new passive move called 'One eyes'. As of right now, it was not so powerful right now, but it had a lot of potential.

Now, coming to leveling up moves to level 40 and above, it had been able to do it for 5 of its moves which was very huge for an uncommon rank Pokemon. As of right now, Axel had been thinking of leveling up the move 'Crunch'. 

'Crunch' was a powerful move that also had a chance to lower the target's defense. Axel wanted to capitalize on it. 

So, first Axel began to tell the weak points of humans and Pokemons to Feraligatr. The move should not only be powerful but also effective and efficient. 

After thinking about it for some time, Axel decided to fall asleep. It had been more than 55 hours since he had fallen asleep and now he was starting to feel the bad effect of it. Axel decided to not take any risks and sleep to rest his body.

The next day,

They started to travel while walking. At this time, Axel called out Feraligatr, Aerodactyl, and Primeape. As of right now, both Feraligatr and Aerodactyl were training their bite moves and teeth. 

Axel had been applying the paste on their teeth for better results. The leader from the cave of Aerodactyl had said that after every 10 times fall of the teeth, the teeth of Aerodactyl gets exceptionally stronger than before and the difficulty of breaking the teeth would increase again. 

Aerodactyl had 30 teeth and Axel had been taking proper notes on the fall of each of its teeth. At first, he didn't notice it but after some time, he realized that its bite force was getting stronger little by little. 

As of right now, all of its teeth had fallen 7 times and he believed that it would fall 10 times during this trip. Aerodactyl was also trying to learn a new bite technique. 

Meanwhile, Primeape was trying to learn a new type of speed move that would help it in the battle. 

Since Axel and Kizaru agreed that they would be taking it slow, it started to take multiple breaks each day. 

They had been very careful to avoid any territories of psychic type and dragon-type Pokemons. 

On the 5th day, they reached a big lake in the middle of the forest. It was around 10 a.m. and Kizaru said all of them to take a rest. 

When all of them had their lunch, Axel called out Feraligatr and Aerodactyl. 

"Both of you are learning 'Crunch' right now. Look over there. There is a big and wide tree out there. Aerodactyl, you will use 'Crunch' over there and also mix it with a normal bite on the trunks of the tree. 

Feraligatr, your task will be different. you will go inside the lake and use 'Aqua jet'. Then you will go inside the lake and try to bite stones inside the lake. Try to use the power of water and embed it in your teeth to make it sharper.", said Axel.

Even though both of them were learning the same move to level it up to level 40, both of them had different strengths and fighting styles. Axel wanted Feraligatr to improve the power of 'Crunch' by combining it with the sharpness of water. 

Axel knew that water could be one of the sharpest things if it was trained very well. So, it wanted those teeth to have the power of sharp water.

Feraligatr also wanted to swim as it had not swam in the lake for a long time.

After looking at how serious Axel was with his Pokemon training, Jin had also started to seriously train his Pokemons. Jin believed that he was even 50% as hardworking and serious as Axel, he could achieve a lot in the future. 

The other members of the expedition team especially Ron and Harry were also motivated to train their Pokemons during the breaks.

Feraligatr POV

"Finally, I can relax in the lake.", shouted Feraligatr and jumped on the lake with a huge splash.

Axel had increased the intensity of the training of young Pokemons including Feraligatr. It was not that it hated training. On the contrary, it loved to train cause it loved the feeling of being powerful. It could feel that it was gradually getting stronger.

However, the training was very relentless, boring and tedious. So, Feraligatr loved to relax sometimes. Among all the places to relax, a lake was the best place for it. 

It loved to go inside the lake and just sleep there. It wanted to feel the breeze of water all over its body. The silence inside the deep lake always made it feel at home. 

However, when they came on the journey, they had not been able to find a single lake till now, and finally today they found it.

So, instead of training inside the lake as Axel suggested, it went inside to explore and relax.

"Oh, what is this? This lake is very deep. I can hardly see anything inside here.", said Feraligatr and it went deeper. 

Feraligatr had its red spikes that would help it navigate inside the water but since it had never been inside a water body for so long, it never knew that it could do it. So, it always took the help of its sights.

"I have never been to such a deep lake", thought Feraligatr.

The interesting thing about this lake was that, even though it was very deep, the water pressure was not so high that it would feel the pressure. 

It could see various types of water-type Pokemons in the lake. Most of them were Magikarp. There were also some Feebas, Goldeen, and Remoraid. 

All of them were minding their own business and didn't even care about Feraligatr. The lake was still very deep and Feraligatr had still not gotten to the deepest part of it. 

Now, Feraligatr could not see anything. It was starting to get completely dark and it knew that if it went even more deep, it would be blinded by darkness.

However, the lake was making curious. How deep could it go? It wanted to go inside but it could see anything deep down. 

It knew that it had the capacity to sense others in water from its spikes. Axel had told stories about other wild Feraligatr that could do these things. But these Feraligatr had been living inside the water for a long time and trained on it for their survival. 

However, Feraligatr had never been to water bodies for a long time. So, it didn't know how to do it.

'I want to go inside but first, I think I should train these red spikes.', thought Feraligatr.

Even though it wanted to see what was deep inside there, it knew that it would be full of danger if it could not feel anything inside the water. 

So, it closed its eyes and started to concentrate on its red spikes. Axel had told Feraligatr how it could train on these spikes and it had also tried before but it was never too serious about it. 

However, this time it really was. 

Feraligatr POV end.

"Magnus, it has been more than an hour and Feraligatr had not come out. Just go and check if it's okay.", said Axel.

Before Axel could sense Feraligatr through his aura sense but now he could not. His sensing capabilities were heavily reduced when he started to sense underground. 

So, he told Magnus to go look inside if it was facing any problem. 

Magnus went inside and came back after 10 minutes.

"He is okay. He just wants to train his red spikes right now.", said Slowemperor.

Axel felt relief after hearing it. Feraligatr was still not as mature as Shedinja. It didn't tell him anything about it and made him worry.

"Axel, I feel that there is something else inside and I want to go see and take a look.", said Slowemperor.

"Oh, it is something dangerous?"

"No, but I feel a bit of psychic fluctuation deep inside the lake. I want to go and see it."

"Ok, but be careful and be back here in 20 minutes. If you could not then I am sending a rescue team.", said Axel.

Slowemperor was a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon but Axel was still worried about the unknown.

Pokemon POV start

Slowemperor first went towards Feraligatr and said telepathically, 'I will go deep down, you train here.'

Feraligatr was angry after hearing it. It wanted to go and explore now its friend was going there. 

'Axel told you to train here for 2 hours and then we will go back', said Slowemperor and then went deep inside.

Unlike Feraligatr, it used psychic waves to sense around and then go inside. 

The lake was very deep and it was uncommon to be so deep. This was the second time, it had gone so deep inside. After some minutes of moving down, it finally found the deepest part of the lake.

It was still sensing the energy and trying to find out the location of that energy. It felt that there was very weak life energy inside but it was very surprising to sense it here cause the life energy was very weak and such life energy could not come so deep inside.

"Huh? What is this?"

"Axel, I think that you should just relax. Magnus is a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon and it would be okay.", said Ron patting his back.

Slowemperor had now gone for 30 minutes and it had not come out. Slowemperor was not like Feraligatr. If he had said to come out in 20 minutes, it would come out in 20 minutes. It was a psychic-type Pokemon after all. 

But there was no sign of it and this made Axel very nervous. But after 5 minutes, Slowemperor came out and in its hand was a Pokemon.

Ron ran towards Slowemperor and picked up the Pokemon and asked, "What happened?"

It was a large Pokemon that was similar to a seahorse with a tightly curled tail. It was covered in blue scales except for its yellow, compact belly scales. There were thin spines with a single branch atop its head and thin, white fins under its cheeks. Its thin snout was powerful, allowing squirts of water jets with devastating power to be fired. Two-pronged fins extended slightly past its cheeks. On its back was a white fin supported by thin, blue spines similar to the ones on its head.

It was Kingdra. An injured Kingdra.

The Kingdra was hardly breathing and there were multiple wounds on its body. 

"I don't know. I sensed a little life energy from the deep of the lake and I found it on the death bed.", said Slowemperor. 

Ron immediately called Kizaru and others and told them to help this poor Pokemon. Axel could see that Ron was panicking. He didn't ask why he was so afraid and nervous. He called out Venusaur and told it to heal too.

After applying many potions and healing moves, it was finally out of its death bed but it was still very injured. As per Ron's instructions, they immediately let it inside the water and now it was just floating near the edge of the lake. After it came out of danger, Axel finally asked Ron, "So, now tell me, why were so scared?"
