Courtcase

"Ok, I will do it. But I need some help from you.", said Axel.

"Tell me what you need and I will do it for you."

"First of all, you said that I could go there after 1 month and I need a good place to train in this 1 month. I need a good training ground that would help my new Pokemons and I don't want to go home now."

"Don't worry Axel. I can arrange that for you. You don't need to worry about it."

"Secondly, can I communicate with others on that island cause I need to have good communication with my team", asked Axel.

"Yes, we have no problem with communication but you need to be a specific place in the island for communication."

Axel was talking about Hector and others who were training very intensely. He needed to know their progress.

"Ok, that is not a problem for me."

"And thirdly, can you help me? I am stuck in a situation right now."

Axel then started to tell all the things that had happened with the Mega family girl and how he was summoned by the court today. Angela was furious.

"How could that Mega family girl do like that? Don't worry, you and I will go the court and we will sort it out.", said Angela.

It seemed like she hated the Mega family with passion. 

"Do I have to call Oak for help?", asked Axel.

"No, you don't have to call Prof. Oak for help in these small matters. His name would be enough. The poor judge would shit himself if Oak came here. I will make sure that the Mega family would receive harsh punishment for it.", said Angela.

They had their lunch and then they started to talk about other things. Axel wanted to know about the Cipher organization but it was already 2:30 p.m. and they had to go to the court for the hearing. 

Axel and Angela confidently walked towards the courthouse to make Mega's family pay for what they did.

After some time,

"The court calls Axel Blaze to the stand.", said the judge.

Axel went to the stand and the judge asked, "Mr. Axel, you have been accused of using your Pokemon to harm another trainer. Miss. Karena Mega had reported that your Togepi used 'Flamethrower' and nearly burnt her alive. Is that true?", asked the judge.

"Yes, but.."

"And you also know that using your Pokemon to hurt another trainer is a very serious offense right?", asked the judge again.

"Yes, I know but …."

"So, since you did that offense, I must tell you that you are fined 10 million Poke dollars and also 3 years in jail.", concluded the judge.

The judge was not letting Axel speak. Before he could even speak a sentence properly, the judge was already going to pass the sentence. He then realized that the judge was also in cahoots with the Mega family. He boiled his anger even more. He also felt very lucky that he brought Angela with him. These people were not very good people and he was going to show all of them the result of their actions.

"Mr. Judge, can I say anything for my defense?", asked Axel.

"Yes, you can but you have already confirmed your crimes. So, I don't think you would have any defense. The time of this court is very important and I must warn you that I would not waste my time here if the defense is not full proof.

I can also reduce the sentence and decrease your jail time but if you are being annoying then, I might increase your punishment.", said the judge.

Angela was fuming with anger after hearing this judge. At that time, she wanted to make sure that the Johto region was properly destroyed by Oak's rage. She was ready to call Oak and tell them all these things but Axel spoke.

"For the defense, I have….."

Axel started to tell his version of the story and also brought out the nurse and the trainers for the witness. They said their peace and sided with Axel's favor.

"You have brought some witnesses but the court feels that they are lying. So, their statement would no longer be valid.", said the judge.

Shedinja who was inside Axel's shadow was ready to kill that judge but Axel told it to hold it in. 

Even the people inside the court could tell that the judge was very biased towards Karena Mega. They felt pity for Axel. They knew that the young trainer was from the Kanto region and they felt bad that he was being harassed. But they could not do anything.

Meanwhile, Karena with her other friends from the Mega family was smiling and looking down on Axel. She knew that it was her fault but she wanted to show his guy the power and status of her.

'This guy would now realize to not mess with me.', she thought.

"Mr. Judge, I feel that you are siding with Mega family trying all your best to make me take the punishment. I feel that your court is biased and is siding with the Mega family which is also the starter family of the Johto region.", said Axel.

"HOW DARE YOU? Do you have any idea what you have said? I could have you killed for this statement.", shouted the judge as if he was being harassed. This old man was very good at acting. If there was an Oscar ceremony in this world, he would have won every year.

"But I also feel that the court is stupid. Do you know why? Don't worry, I will tell you.

You are trying to side with the Mega family since they are a big organization but somehow, you forgot to research my background. I am the elder of the Venu family and also the sole successor of the Pokemon master, Prof. Samuel Oak. 

So, if you are trying to take a side with a powerful background, you should have gone with me. But you didn't. This proves that you are stupid beyond reason. 

I have already shown you my evidence and also all the proofs. I have nothing else to prove now. So, you can make your decision now."

The judge could not speak for something. He could not tell if Axel was lying or not. If by any chance Axel was speaking the truth, then he was fucked. Like royally fucked.

Everybody knew the anger and power of the Oak. He could imagine his entire family in flames burning and crying for help. However, he had to find out if that was the truth.

So, he said, "The court has received all the information from both sides. Now, the court needs some time to make a decision and analyze all the details. The court hearing is postponed for 1 hour.", said the judge and then went on his own way.

Meanwhile, Karena was furious. She had to go shopping and also attend a party. She didn't have time to wait for another hour. She wanted to shout at that judge but she also knew that she could not do that in public.

So, she went to meet with the judge personally.

Knock.. Knock.. Knock.. Knock… 

Knock.. Knock.. Knock.. Knock…

"Hey, open the door. What are you doing inside?", shouted Karena.

A guard came and said, "I am sorry miss but the judge said you to wait here for 10 minutes."

"10 minutes? Do you think that I have time to wait here for him for 10 minutes? Tell him to come outside now.", shouted the girl.

The guard didn't know what to do now. He had to follow the instructions but he also knew that she was from the Mega family.

Finally, after 10 minutes the judge told the guard to let her in.

"Hey, why were you not opening the door? Did you forget you got this job? And why didn't you make a decision there?", asked Karena.

"Miss. Karena. I think we have made a big mistake.", said the judge.

"What do you mean?"

"That guy, he said that he is the successor of Oak. So I came here to check it out and it looks like he is speaking the truth. We are in big trouble.", said the judge visibly shaking his whole body.

"Why are you getting so scared? So he knows the Pokemon master. Just make the decision that he was in right and I will pay a million dollars in fine. That would end the problem.", said Karena.

She had not said any of these things to her father. She just wanted to make a quick money. So, if that guy was the successor of the Pokemon master, then her father must get involved and she didn't want that. Her father was also not the saint but he would scold her.

So, she asked the judge to rule it in his favor and she would not have to worry about it. It was just a million dollars, so she had no problem.

However,

"Miss, you don't understand the gravity of this situation. I think it is time to call your father.", said the judge.

"No, we can't do that. Why are you afraid now? I said to rule it in his favor."

"I am sorry miss but I will not do anything until you call your father."

"You do realize that I got you this job. I can also take it.", said Karena with a smile.

"Right now, I don't care about the job but my life. If you want to take my job then take it. If you don't call your father, then I will rule it in his favor, and as per the rules, you would have to pay a huge amount and also spend time in jail.", said the judge.

"You would not."

"I am sorry miss, but I have to do it. I care about my life."

Karena was around 14 years old. She had no idea of the terror and horror of Oak. However, the judge had lived a long life and he knew that they were in deep shit.

Oak in his younger days was a force that was feared. The entire town would be in lockdown when he stepped on that town. If that boy decided to call Oak, he knew that his life was over. He also knew that the Johto region would only have 2 starter families after this day.

Karena was now in a pickle. She didn't want to call her father but it seemed like she didn't have any choice. The judge was not budging and she had to make the call.

Tring.. Tring.. Tring.. Tring…

"Hello, father…"

After an hour, the judge came and he looked like he was a few years older. Axel could not understand what had happened. He could also see that Karena was with another middle-aged man. He could assume that he was her father.

"After getting through all the documents and evidence, it looks like Mr. Axel Blaze was right, and Miss. Karena Mega was wrong. So, Miss. Karena Mega would be fined 10 million Poke dollars for false accuse.", said the judge.

The whole crowd was surprised. The judge was totally working with the Mega family, so why would the judge make a decision in Axel's favor? Nobody could understand it.

"Only, 10 million Poke dollars? My reputation has been hampered and I want more compensation. Miss. Karena has falsely accused me. I believe that she should also get some punishment."

"What do you want then?", asked the judge.

"I want 1 trillion Poke dollars as compensation and also want Karena to be sentenced to jail for 3 years.", said Axel.

"That is bullshit!!!", shouted Karena as she stood from her seat. She was very angry with this guy now.

"Mr. Axel, that is a very harsh punishment. She is a young girl and has made a mistake. I think we can just let go with monetary compensation."

"You are the judge and you can make that decision. I am just saying what I feel. You did say that I would have to spend 3 years in jail. So why can't she?", asked Axel.
