Chapter Eleven - A dream-like reality

The loud honks and chirping of birds made me half-awake. With an empty stomach and heavy head, I rose up. My eyes wandered and the familiar beige-colored room welcomed me. I think I managed to crawl my way in. I cracked my neck and when I turned left to move the sheet away from my body, an asleep Warren who's only wearing briefs surprised me. I gasped in disbelief and held my scream. I slapped my face few times. This isn't a dream, right? So, I actually met him last night! Pero paanong nakapasok siya dito? Wala akong naalalang may binigyan ako ng passcode ng condo ko.

I immediately lifted the sheet back and covered his lower body. In the name of my virgin eyes, I don't want to see his bulging thing underneath!

Kinapa ko ang katawan ko and I still have my clothes! So, nothing happened? But, why the heck is he naked?! I covered my face. No, no, I shouldn't stare at his body! I should calm down and think of ways to wake him up. I slightly move my fingers away from my eyes and peek at him. I think I'm still dreaming! There's no way that this well-sculptured figure is Warren!

Bumalik ako sa paghiga at itinukod ang ulo ko sa braso ko. Should I kick him like I wanted? But I don't think I'm mad anymore. Mindlessly, I moved my hand and traced his face. He looked peaceful and harmless with his entangled hair. My thumb touched his lips, it doesn't look pale and has a neutral color that matches his skin. Napalunok ako. I already tasted it but I'm not used to how smooth it was. And then, my hand slowly went down along my eyes until it reached his sculpted torso. Did he trained his body for all those years? Binawi ko kaagad ang kamay ko. A thought came to me and twisted my heart. I bet he already slept with countless of women in this body. I mean, why would I care? It's not like I have feelings for him. I'm just going to use him and dumped him afterwards. No matter how good-looking he became, I will never forget the things he did in the past. The things that made me hated him. I'm not letting him win this game!

Babangon na sana ulit ako nang bigla nalang niyang pinulupot ang braso niya sa bewang ko. I froze when I felt him breathing on my neck. It tickles me and my body heated! The mixed smell of his hair and skin is making me crazy!

"I'm glad I didn't wake up from your screams, Dana." He said in low and husky voice. "Did you enjoy touching me?"

My cheeks heated and gritted my teeth. Sinubukan kong bumangon uli pero mas lalo niyang diniinan ang pagkakayakap sa akin at hinila niya ako papalapit sa kaniya. Kinabig niya ako at binaon ang ulo ko sa dibdib niya. What is happening? The sound of his heartbeat and his warm skin is making me feel at ease. I closed my eyes and let myself being fascinated by this short serenity.

"I've missed you, Dana." He's now combing my hair. "Please tell me this is not a dream."

I came back to reality and pushed him.

"This is defintiely not a dream! Now, move! Or else, I'm going to kick your ass out of here!" Matigas na sabi ko.

I moved my head up and found those russet eyes staring back at me. He rolled on top of me, pinned my wrists against the bed and locked my thighs using his knees.

"Warren, ano ba! Tumigil ka nga!" Saway ko. I looked away from his burning gaze.

I don't know what's the exact word to describe my emotions right now. Scared? Nervous? Frustrated? I don't know.

He loosened his grip and collapsed with his head on my neck. "I-I'm sorry. God! Why do I keep doing these?!"

My breathing stopped for a second and squeaked when I felt his hard log on my left thigh. I panicked and harshly bumped my head to his face. He groaned and jumped out of the bed with a bloody nose.
