Aiden Jenkins. The Beach

Now I find myself on a bed in the middle of what seemed like a small hut. I could tell it was in the middle of the afternoon with the way the sun shone high through the fabric of the makeshift tent.

Hadn't I woken up past mid-noon today? My conscience told me. I didn't even know why my own mind had thought that. I must have been going crazy.

I tried to move my hands, but they felt too heavy to even lift. When I shifted my weight on the bed, I was horrified to find that underneath the rough blanket that was covering my body, I was completely naked.

After a while of getting used to moving my body, I could finally lift up my hands. I ran them over parts of my body to check if I was hurt anywhere. When I felt satisfied to find all my body parts were still there, I started the long hard process of trying to sit up. It was labour work.
