A Suspicious Hero - Part Two

The Miraculous holder had the same outfit, but their hair was styled differently. It was brown with dark blue streaks styled in a bun.

"Who is Mayura?" they asked.

"Well, obviously not you," Cat Noir was confused.

"Who are you? And how did you get the Peacock Miraculous?" Ladybug questioned.

"I am Pavona. The Peacock Miraculous was lying in the open where anyone could have taken it. What if this had fallen into the wrong hands?" The person crossed her arms.

"It already fell into the wrong hands twice!" Ladybug shouted as she ran at Pavona.

"What?" Pavona shouted as she dodged Ladybug.

"Oh, come on! Mayura must have passed the Miraculous to you!" Cat Noir and Ladybug both attacked Pavona, but she dodged them and kicked Cat Noir to the side.

"You think I'm a supervillain? You're the ones who attacked me!" Pavona exclaimed, "And who is Mayura?"

Ladybug stopped. "You don't know who Mayura is?"

"No."

"Don't you know about Hawkmoth? He and Mayura have been using the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses for evil!"

Pavona whispered to herself, "Nooroo..."

"How did you get the Miraculous?" Ladybug questioned.

"I told you, I found it. How could yet let something like this happen to the Miraculouses?"

"That wasn't my doing. It was a mistake made by someone else. I've been trying to help them right the wrong."

Cat Noir cut in, "Pavona, are you working with Hawkmoth or not?"

"I'm not. I don't even know who he is!" Pavona responded.

"Then why don't we become allies? You don't want the Miraculouses to fall into the wrong hands, and we want to rescue them from the wrong hands. That means something, right?" he looked at Ladybug and shrugged.

"Pavona, if we work together, we can get the Butterfly Miraculous back," Ladybug pointed out.

"How do I know I can trust you? All I've gotten from this conversation is that you both are irresponsible superheroes." Pavona turned and jumped away.

"Should we go after her?" Chat Noir turned to Ladybug.

"No. She's probably going to transform back." Ladybug looked angry, "We can't trust her. She insulted us and she has the Peacock Miraculous."

"I agree. She must work with Hawk Moth," Cat Noir nodded his head.

Ladybug couldn't help but feel like a failure deep down inside. She had messed up so many times.

"Let's go back. We can relax tonight and deal with this later." Cat Noir grabbed Ladybug's hand and held it tight.

Mira collapsed on her bed. She shouldn't have come on so rude like that. The two Miraculous holders couldn't be trusted, but she didn't have to make enemies out of them. To avoid other situations like this, Mira decided she should not transform into Pavona unless necessary. However, if this Hawkmoth attacked Paris, Mira would get a chance to relieve the glory of her past.
