The Shadow

Narrator's P.O.V

The only source of light in that dark room was a flickering bulb that was about to run out of its power. It was hard for anyone to make out what was going on. In amidst all the darkness, there was a dim shadow that approached the girl who was lying beneath the fallen concrete.

To common eyes it would it appear as if she was buried underneath it. But a tiny, infinitesimally small gap remained, between her and the concrete. Why was it there? No one knows. It just stopped by itself. Like it hit an invisible floor, before it hit her.

The Shadow did not have a prominent form. It was neither projected in the form of a male or a female. The flow of the shadow moved as if it was flying over the surface. It was smooth, dangerous, and yet elegant.
