Chapter VIII

Taeyong's PoV

I slowly open my eyes but felt something weird. Hindi ako makagalaw. I was being tied up.

Nasan ako?

Teka, is this a church? Ba't nandito ako? Ba't nakatali ako?

"Oh you're awake. That's great."

A long haired, pale face man said. I don't know him but the look of him he looks trouble.

He smirked at me holding his own knife.

Sinubukan kong makawala pero mahigpit ang pagkakatali.

"Shhhh. There's no point in fighting my prince." he chuckled

I tried to look around and infront of me was the stage and saw another person in white gown an I just noticed I wear one too. They cover him with a white towel.

"Stay here." the man whispered as he enter the stage when his name was called.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here infront of you is a man who has been wanted to be cleansed and now is the right time for him to do it." the old man said and crowed cheered.

They remove the towel on the hostage.

He looks like a middle aged man and staring from his eyes, he doesn't want to die.

Shit, I need to get away from here even if i know it is impossible.

The crowd started to cheer when the pale man raised the knife and with the signal of the old man he burried the knife on that poor man's heart. Once they make sure that the man is dead they all cheer up.

This is sickening.

"Now to the finale. You won't believe who we got here. " The pale man covered my face and I can feel him pushing me.

When someone remove the cover on my face I saw the crowd of mostly elite old people.

"You probably don't know him. He's the lost son of the King and the Queen. And as we celebrate the Purge and cleansed ourselves I offer you the Prince!" and the crowd started clapping.

"And to help me with this can I call our new founding fathers on this stage?" the old man called and 10 old men came on the stage including the Prime Minister.

Youuu.... I know it is impossible for me to get out from here.

The crowd started cheering

"PURGE AND PURIFY!"

"PURGE AND PURIFY!"

"PURGE AND PURIFY!"

"May I call the Prime Minister to initiate the purging."

I don't know, but everything is muffled now.

I think I failed.
