"Please, I beg you Aurora! Don't kill me!!"

A young man was crawling away in fear, the floor was dyed with his blood.

Bodies were sprawled on the ground and Aurora was standing in the middle of it.

The young man in front of Aurora is one of her cousins, also a Blood Candidate.

Aurora stared down at her cousin with cold, merciless eyes devoid of all emotions

"Why are you begging? Have you not considered that I would come after you after your men failed to kill me? I have lost precious loyal subordinates, Barry. This? All of this is happening because you made me your enemy. Begging to me will not help you, just accept your fate." Aurora said to her cousin.

"Please, no no no no! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Aurora stabbed Barry in the heart.

The last thing he saw before dying, was Aurora's emotionless face before everything went dark for him.

Aurora sighed after killing Barry.

"I feel tired, I think I should go take some days off to cool my head," She muttered.

Looking at her, now deceased cousin. Aurora clicked her tongue before she took the pendant Barry was wearing on his neck.

She stared at the 'Blood Token'.

It's a beautiful ruby in the shape of a drop of blood.

Getting up, Aurora took out her phone.

She sent a message to Avalon before she turned around and left the villa.

At Aiden's office.

"Sir, we have lost contact with Widow last night."

Aiden furrowed his brows hearing Wilshere.

"She's probably dead. What about Angel?" Aiden inquired.

"'Angel' has successfully infiltrated Remy Blood's manor."

Aiden nodded in approval.

"Good, tell her to lay low until we have someone to replace Widow, is there anything else Wilshere?"

Wilshere nodded before putting a USB stick on Aiden's desk.

Aiden took the USB stick and connected it to his laptop.

Seeing the contents, he gave out a deep sigh.

On the USB stick, there was a video of Aurora killing one of his nephews, who is also a Blood Candidate.

After killing Barry Blood, Aurora took his 'Blood Token' and left.

"Barry Blood's father, William Blood has called for the council meeting. One of the elders has sent this video and asked for your opinion, sir." Wilshere reported before giving Aiden the seal belonging to the elder who sent the USB stick.

Just as Aiden was about to address Aurora's matter, there was a knock on the door.

Aiden frowned.

"Come in!" He called out raising his voice.

It was Avalon who knocked.

Entering the office, Avalon greeted his uncle with a smile.

"Uncle!" Avalon.

Aiden smiled back at Avalon.

"Avalon." Aiden.

"Is there anything the matter?" Aiden asked.

"Yes, uncle!" Avalon replied walking towards Aiden's desk.

He had a file in his hand.

Standing before the desk, Avalon handed Aiden the file.

"It is regarding Aurora's action, uncle."

Hearing Avalon's reason for visit, Aiden was surprised!

Opening the file, Aiden looked at the contents of the file.

"It is a significant offence for someone to assassinate anyone who has not completed the rite of passage in the sacred society. And that is just one of the many violations of the laws, Barry has committed. Barry not only violated the laws of the Sacred Society, but he also had betrayed the Blood family! The evidence is in your hands, Uncle. One of the copy has been sent to the council to explain Aurora's actions. As for the Blood Token, its-"

"Sanguis enim sanguis..." Aiden muttered out loud.

"You don't have to remind me about the 'right to execute and judge the traitors of the Blood' rule of our family, I'm familiar with the rule and that rule is what put me on the Blood Throne, Avalon." Aiden said in a monotone voice.

Hearing Aiden, a chill ran up Avalon's spine as the hairs on his arms stood on end.

"You can leave now if that is all, Avalon."

Avalon nodded to Aiden before he turned back and left the office.

Putting the file on the desk, Aiden sighed.

He turned to the laptop screen and replayed the video of Aurora killing Barry's security one by one until the moment where she was about to kill Barry.

Pausing the video, Aiden had mixed feelings looking at the scene.

He tried to convince Aaron to become his Blood Candidate.

But Aaron refused him every time he asked.

He then forced Aaron to a corner to become a Blood Candidate.

But instead of becoming his Blood Candidate, Aaron chose to become an independent Blood Candidate.

Aiden shook his head before turning towards Wilshere.

"Wilshere. Keep an eye on my daughter's movements." Aiden instructed Wilshere.

"Sir, we already have eyes on her..." Wilshere replied with a complicated expression on his face.

Aiden raised an eyebrow seeing Wilshere's expression.

"Is there something you want to say?" He asked Wilshere.

"Sir, we believe that young mistress knows about our people keeping eyes on her."

"I see... It doesn't matter even if she controls what information we get, it's useful to us either way. Since she is being generous, there's no reason for us to back away. So, tell me about Aaron, and his friends." Aiden replied to Wilshere before asking about Aaron and his gang.

Wilshere nodded before reporting to Aiden.

"We can't break into young master Aaron's defences. Anyone we send to keep an eye on the young master, they are returned to us with a stickied note that says 'Better luck next time' or instructing us how to exploit the weakness' on young master's defences..." Wilshere felt embarrassed giving the reports on Aaron to Aiden.

His subordinates are being toyed like they are a bunch of toddlers by Aaron.

Aiden laughed hearing the report.

"At least he has some sense of humour, unlike his sister. Don't bother Aaron, call off your people."

Wilshere nodded before reporting about the misfits.

"Ian McCullum. His background is ordinary but ever since he became, young master and mistress' friend, his activities besides school life is a complete mystery! There's no information we can gather about him and the people we have sent to keep an eye on him have disappeared without a trace." Wilshere reported to Aiden and waited for his instruction.

Aiden frowned.

"Continue."

Nodding to Aiden, Wilshere proceeded on his reports about the others.

"About Zulkernyn Hassan, we have verified that he is not just a member of the Hassan's but the heir of the Hassan's."

Aiden was surprised learning about Zulkernyn's identity.

"The heir? That means he knows the whereabouts of the Library of Wisdom and Death! It's one of the wonders of the Sacred Society and the Abyss world... People in the Abyss would do anything to get their hands on the library! Has he debuted in the Abyss world, yet?" Aiden inquired, he was curious about the Library of Wisdom and Death.

Shaking his head, Wilshere replied. "No, sir. Zulkernyn hasn't debuted in the Abyss world yet. But he has recently visited the Abyss merchant 'Pierrot' along with the young master of the Heilige family, Sabastian Heilige. There's no new information about Zulkernyn other than the information we already have about him."

"Continue to the next one." Aiden.

Wilshere nodded.

"About miss Nyx Prince and Sabastian Heilige. A few weeks ago there was an assassination attempt on their life. Their whereabouts are unknown, they haven't made any public appearance since then. With the lack of concern regarding their fate from the assassination attempt by the Heilige and the Prince family, we have concluded that they have survived and are currently recovering from the events.

Wilshere paused and hesitated about the reports on Erisviel Le Fay.

Seeing Wilshere's hesitation, Aiden asked.

"Is there something I should be concern about, Wilshere?"

"No sir!" Wilshere replied shaking his head.

"Then continue with your report!"

Wilshere took a deep breath before nodding.

"About miss Le Fay... Sir, miss Le Fay may be a descendant of the House of Le Fay and there is a possibility of miss Le Fay to be a descendant of Morganna Le Fay!"

"What!" Aiden exclaimed in surprise!

"What do you mean, she might be a descendant of Morgana Le Fay? I can believe that she might be a Le Fay but Morganna's descendant? That's absurd!" Aiden spoke out raising his voice at Wilshere.

The thought of Erisviel Le Fay to be a descendant of Morganna Le Fay terrified him!

Morganna Le Fay is a legendary figure who was banished from the House of Le Fay.

There are many legends of Morganna Le Fay in the Abyss world.

The most famous legend of Morgana Le Fay is, where she destroyed 6 Sacred families with a single rumour.

The House of Le Fay was once a branch of the Prince family.

They declined 500 years ago and the Prince family abandoned them after their decline.

The house of Le Fay still exists in the Sacred Society but they are not as powerful as they were in the past.

Morganna Le Fay after being banished from her family created an organisation in the Abyss world.

That organisation after her death disappeared without a trace.

What happened to them? No one knows.

But the day that organisation disappeared was the day, a war broke out in the abyss world.

5 Sacred families and clans almost went extinct.

One of them was the Blood family.

Aiden looked at Wilshere with a solemn gaze.

"If what you said is true! No, even if there is a small possibility of her being Morganna's descendant. She must be eliminated!" Aiden said with a serious tone.

"But sir, she is the Young master and young mistress' best friend."

Aiden fell silent.

He thought for a few minutes before he instructed Wilshere about what to do with Erisviel Le Fay.

"For now, keep an eye on her. You will report to me if any changes happen in her life no matter how insignificant it is. Don't let Tessiana find out about this! Try to bury everything that relates her to Morganna. Anything, anyone!"

"You can leave, Wilshere. Send me the reports later for me to look at, I need some time for myself..."

Wilshere nodded to Aiden before he turned back and left the office.

After Wilshere left, Aiden went into deep thought.

"The Death Parade... Are the Death Parade related to Morganna's Phantom House?" Aiden muttered in thought.
