Choi Li Hwa (Okay)???

*bam*

Li Hwa shut the door after saying 'Okay' to Aaron's confession.

Holding the handle of the door, she stood still trying to comprehend what just happened.

Her mind seems to have short-circuited.

She was having a tough time processing, what Aaron just rambled on about.

Two weeks ago, Choi Li Hwa met a boy.

He was extremely handsome.

He had a sick aura around him but he is sweet and a fun person.

The boy is 5 years younger than her and still is in high school.

At first, Li Hwa thought their interests wouldn't be the same and being five years older than him their way of thinking as well as opinion or beliefs might differ.

She treated the boy as a younger brother instead of an equal.

But surprisingly, he was different!

He was mature and understanding, they had similar beliefs, opinions and interests as well.

She spent more time talking to the boy whenever he came to her place.

They became good friends.

Later, Li Hwa started to become self-conscious about herself around the boy.

When did it start? Li Hwa can't tell.

The boy was really handsome, feeling attracted to the boy is given but she started to have slight feelings for the boy.

At first, Li Hwa ignored the feelings. After all, the boy is 5 years younger than her and was still in high school.

She despaired on the thoughts of what the people will talk about, like for example, she being a single mother and a high school teacher going out with a high schooler?

That sounds bad!

But wait! Why was she thinking about going out with the boy in the first place!?

These thoughts later confirmed her, that she was not just attracted to the boy but she was slowly developing deep feelings for the boy.

There's a huge difference between slight feelings and deep feelings!

Day by day, her feeling for the boy grew.

Her son, Yong-Hyeon really seems to look up to the boy.

Yong-Hyeon always talks about the boy.

Whenever the boy came to her apartment she enjoyed and felt comfortable around the boy when he spends his time with her.

Which was weird that they only knew each other for a few weeks.

Then one day, a letter from her workplace came.

It was a transfer letter of hers, that she was being transferred to one of the best high school in the country.

Not only that, its Carson Quinton de'ville high school.

She was being transferred to Carson's elite school.

A school for the geniuses.

When Li Hwa got the letter, instead of being happy she felt sad.

She felt sad that she will be moving and will probably never meet the boy ever again.

And Li Hwa doesn't dare to go ask the boy out because it will not just impact both of their life but also Yong-Hyeon's too.

Even if she asked the boy out, perceptions of social disapproval about their age and status will impact their life.

If their friends, family and wider community disapprove of their union, then relationship commitment will decrease and the risk of a break-up will increase.

There will be a stigma on them that might never wash away.

If they went ahead and got into a relationship, the negativity from the pressure and judgement of others might cause issues in their relationship.

One might say it's okay, but that might not be okay.

The success of a relationship depends on the extent to which partners share similar values, beliefs and goals about their relationship.

Support each other in achieving personal goals; foster relationship commitment, trust and intimacy also resolve problems in constructive ways.

Is it possible?

She doesn't know.

After all, it's all a one-sided crush to her.

But today, Li Hwa got her whole world flipped!

Aaron likes her.

Aaron likes her?

Aaron likes her!!!

Choi Li Hwa crouched down holding her face.

Her face was bright pink.

Remembering Aaron's confession, she felt fuzzy and gooey in her heart.

She kind of feels the butterflies in her heart like what they say in books.

Her heart rate was fast.

Li Hwa holding her face doesn't know what to do.

In one moment she smiles brilliantly, on another she shows a sad smile, sometimes she nods, sometimes she shakes her head.

Her mind was having a meltdown.

And finally remembering what she said to Aaron, she felt so embarrassed that she wanted to dig a hole and bury herself deep down!

While Choi Li Hwa was thinking about who knows what.

The little devil, Choi Yong-Hyeon was watching his mother's antics.

Shaking his head, Yong-Hyeon face palmed himself.

"What a stupid mother I have, my God!" Yong-Hyeon muttered.

He noticed it long ago, after all, it's his mother.

His mother doesn't have anyone else, she only has him.

So this seven-year-old kid has to look after his grown ass mother.

Yong-Hyeon saw the whole thing, how the idiot came and rambled on with his mouth like a macho man with balls of steel!

FYI, if anyone asks this seven-year-old me, how I know about this? It's because I googled.

(A/N: Hey! You're not supposed to break the fourth wall, kid!!)

Yong-Hyeon took out his phone and sent a text to Aaron before walking towards his mother.

"Do you like him, mom?"

Choi Li Hwa flinched hearing her son behind her.

She turned around and saw her son looking at her with a serious expression.

Choi Li Hwa stared at Yong-Hyeon for a few moments before she sighed.

Who is she kidding! For her, her son is her utmost priority.

Her life is not only hers anymore, there is someone else who her life is attached to.

"N-" Choi Li Hwa was about to reply to her son's question before she was interrupted by her son.

"It's okay, mom. I like him too, he isn't that bad. But he is also isn't that good, who knows what he will do in the future. So give him a chance for now if he is good then you can decide. No need to think about me, your happiness is my happiness, mom!" Yong-Hyeon said staring at his mother's pearly dark brown eyes.

Li Hwa widened her eyes in surprised and was stunned for a minute before she hugged Yong-Hyeon.

"Are you sure, my little prince?" Li Hwa whispered in Yong-Hyeon's ear.

"Umm-hmm."

"It's okay, I only need you, my little prince."

"No, you also need someone else besides me. That idiot might not be the most ideal person but he will do good."

Li Hwa chuckled hearing her son, suddenly Yong-Hyeon changed how he speaks about Aaron in front of her.

It's kind of cute, Li Hwa thinks.

"Okay, as you said, my little prince. I will take tiny little steps so support me okay?"

"Always, mom!"

Li Hwa hugged Yong-Hyeon tightly before she let him go.

Taking, Yong-Hyeon to the dining table she went to the kitchen to get breakfast for both of them.

"But mom, if that idiot ever makes you cry? I will kill him."

Hearing Yong-Hyeon, Li Hwa chuckled.

"I know you will, my knight."

Watching his mother go to the kitchen, Yong-Hyeon mutters.

"I will make his life a living hell if he troubles you, mom."

Aaron who was thinking of what happened some time ago felt a sudden chill down his spine.

He doesn't know why but Aaron feels his future looks kind of bleak.

It feels like something or someone will make his life a living hell.
