Forging her own path???

Nyx is having her afternoon tea time. Black tea with cream cheese sandwiches.

Usually, she drinks peppermint tea or milk tea but today she decided to drink black tea.

Currently outside the garden, no one but she is alone sitting drinking tea and sandwiches. She has been thinking about her parents in the past few weeks.

Their deaths are a complete mystery.

There are many suspects. for example, her Uncle Leonard, The Government, The terrorist group that was after her parents and that hidden organisation.

Among all of them, the most mysterious one is the hidden organisation. The only clue so far is the mark left behind in one of the assassination attempts on her father.

Suddenly, she hears someone coming from her behind.

"What are you thinking?" A deep voice was heard from her back.

Nyx frowning replied to the voice "Uncle Max dont sneak up on me, it makes me uncomfortable."

Max comes in from the back and takes a seat in the opposite direction facing Nyx.

"I was thinking about my parents."

"..." Max.

"I can't say that I miss them since I've never met them."

"Thinking about who was behind my parent's murder" Nyx looks straight at Max's eyes.

"Possible suspects like Uncle Leonard, The Government, The Terrorists and that hidden organization with the Skull and the Spider mark."

"You're only 10 years old instead of studying and living your youthful life why are you thinking about this stuff." Max looks at her intently with a hint of anger in his voice.

"I just can't help myself but think Uncle Max." Taking a sip of tea she replied.

Max looking at her for a couple of minutes he takes a deep breath and sighs.

"Have you decided where should you be going to study?"

"Yes, I have. Carson Quinton De'ville." Nyx finishing her tea replied to Max and thinks a bit before saying to him.

"I will also move to Star City for the next 5 years."

Surprised hearing her say that she will be moving to Star City max was about to say something regarding this when Nyx interrupted him.

"I will forge my own path Uncle Max and no one can change my mind. I have already decided there's no going back." After telling Max About her decisions Nyx stood up and walk back into the mansion.

Max watching her leave thinks about the conversation he had with Rodney this morning.

"Why have you called me here Rodney?" Max looking at his friend with an irritated face scowls at Rodney.

"Serment de sang." Rodney solemnly said. (A/N Blood Oath in French.)

Max hearing that suddenly becomes serious.

"It's Impossible she doesn't know anything about the Aurier's."

"She doesn't."

"Then how is that possible?" Max can't believe what he is hearing Rodney mentioning the oath can only mean one thing.

Lady Nyx has succeeded her mother Lady Rose.

"She is the current head of the Grace Family" Rodney is also shocked by this sudden revelation.

"This morning Lady Nyx gave me the ring of The Noble Rule of Grace"

Looking at Rodney who's out his wits shocked by these sudden turn of events Max is dumbfounded he has never seen Rodney panicking like this.

"Kira gave the ring to Lady Nyx she said Lady rose given her the ring for safekeeping and told her to give this to her child and explain the importance of the ring her child."

"Kira didn't reveal everything but only said with this she can make any request to me, so she came to me with only one request."

"What?" Max asked Rodney feeling impatient to hear out what kind of request she made to Rodney.

"She asked me to tell her about the hidden organization that was after Lord Arthurs life she wanted me to tell her about Death Parade."

"Aaron?" Aurora calls out in concern.

"Oh it's nothing, I've just decided to go on my own pace as Nyx." Aaron absentmindedly replied.

"Is everything alright?" Aurora noticed her brother's unusual behaviour.

"I dont know? My past life was rather depressing and I can't help but remember My life as Ian." Thinking about his past life Aaron started to speak.

"Cursed, yet braved through all kinds of trials with a sheer will but you see even though I have tried to be positive but with all the thing that I've experienced I couldn't help but fall in negativity"

"At some point, I've become suicidal."

Hearing the last part Aurora frowned.

"This life is not as dark as Ian's but I have brought some negativity from that life in here."

"Who knows what the future holds Nyx has her own problems Aaron has his, one is physically broken another mentally." Aaron said to his sister opening up about his feelings sometimes you need to let it off from your chest or else the suffocation will slowly snuff you out.

Suddenly, Aaron felt wrapped into a hug from his back.

"This time, I'm here for you." Hearing his sister's voice he felt warm, a smile slowly bloomed in his face.

"Yes, I'm not alone this time. I have my BEAutiful and cute sister to accompany me and will drive away all the darkness from me." Aaron said imitating his sister's Cute way of acting.

"Yea yea you're right! I'm cute and BEAutiful. I'm also Awesome yeeaaah" responding to Aaron she acts cute and gives Aaron a tight squeeze before letting go.

"So tell me, sister are you ready for our school life?" Aaron asked Aurora holding her hand walking towards the dining room.

Just like Nyx, they were also homeschooled til now.

"Of course, can't wait to meet my dear sister." Aurora's eyes twinkling in excitement.

"I've always wanted a little sister you know."

"You do realize that It's me right just only female"

Giving a weary smile said to Aurora.

"No! Nyx is Nyx, you are you!!!" Aurora shook her head furiously and kept saying 'no' to him.

"Whatever" feeling drained of all energy Aaron tiredly walks towards the dining table.
