Understanding karma and Dharma

"Okay. But why are you sharing this to me? Even there's risk in sharing such confidential information with me, don't you think?", Guruji asked her.

"I came here to ask how a poison tastes like, you said that 'I can't explain it but I can teach you how it is made and you'll know by yourself how it tastes like'. Same reference can be given to our scenario, I came here to know about my brother Karthik how did he come to know about being RAW agent. You said I don't know but I can teach you how it is achieved.

The information which I would know within few years is something confidential and would risk one's life, so I compared it with poison. I'm ready to take that portion without anyone's force or unwillingly. I came here to know about it, you said I don't know but Karthik might have know it by advance knowledge of meditation. And now, you are guiding me to attain that knowledge which I compared to teaching me to prepare the poison.

So can you say that I've shared the information with you, no I'm just asking you the way to know that information", Kruthika explained.

"Excellent, you have answered two toughest questions. I never expected this from you"

"So did that mean I'm eligible to learn it?"

"Yeah. Before you start it you have to undergo few procedures which I'm going to explain you this week.

Every human being has his own karma, it may be good or bad.

One attains it by doing deeds and even by thinking about it, if you have wished good for someone while heartedly it counts as good karma only if you are following Dharma.

If any of those conditions you are not following then it counts for bad karma.

It's bit difficult to understand it.

Till now I don't know how much bad or good karma you have, you have to make it neutral, by donating and by serving to people, animals and society.

Once it becomes neutral, you can start the program of practising yoga"

"How will I know that my karma has become neutral or not?"

"Till you get your concentration and peace of mind during meditation, you have to do and you should not stop your service once you attain it. Remember one thing, you have to perform the service with good and pure heartly"

"Okay Guruji"

"So can we start it from today, I've asked two people who will inform you about the service that you would be offering", Guruji said and rang the bell on his table.

Two ladies came into the office, who were dressed in white kurti and legging.

"Like you can go with them, they'll explain you everything", said Guruji.

Kruthika went along with ladies.

"So your name is Kruthika. I'm Spurthi and she's Preksha. You can consider us your friends as along as we stay here. Now coming to subject, you have to wake up daily morning before sunrise at 5 and have to bath with cold water", Spurthi said. They were now out of the building and were heading to other side of the campus.

"By that time you are dressed up, you will join us and we'll teach you yoga basics till 7, after that you've to look after the cows. You have to feed them, fetch milk from them, clean the shed and once in a week you have to wash them", Preksha said once they reached the cow shed.

"You have to gather the cow dung here in this concrete tub. In this some portion will be used for flooring in the meditation and yagna rooms, some portion is used as fertilizer for the plants in the campus.

Remaining cow dung will be used for the production of biogas. Bio gas plant in the restricted area where only We, I mean aashram staff can enter", Spurthi explained as they moved further part of shed where concrete tub was present.

"Okay first what should I do here, I mean the first task here is to fetch the milk or to clean the shed?", Kruthika asked them.

"First you have to fetch the milk in the cans, you have to collect them from the kitchen room when you are free. And when you finish it, you should handover the cans to kitchen. You can have the breakfast there, after having breakfast you can continue the further tasks", Spurthi explained her.

"You should finish this task by afternoon. Afternoon will be your free time, you can read the newspaper and write to your family. There's no lunch here, since you are new we will give you for few days. Evening again we'll come to teach yoga, for two hours.

Again you have to repeat the same work as morning, fetching the milk, feeding cows, cleaning the shed, etc.

You do as we said for one week, if you manage all these works and still have extra time we'll explain you about cow dung, how you should manage it", Preksha said to her.

"Okay, can I start from today evening?", Kruthika asked them.

"Okay, we'll instruct you about it", Preksha said looking at Spurthi.

"So may I know the importance of the work which I will be doing?", Kruthika asked them.

"Yeah sure. Cow is saint like animal, if were look after them with care and love, it would be like we are serving to God in up heaven. It adds as good karma", Preksha answered.

"And you are asked to not have food in afternoon, it's because wise person should give atleast his one time meal to other needy people", Spurthi explained.

Kruthika offered her service to aashram for one week as instructed, she was improving in her meditation ability day by day.

Since she had much more free time the task of flooring the meditation and yagna rooms and incharge of biogas production was given to her.

I'm really sorry for not keeping to my words.

Unexpected work showed up.

Sorry!!!
