"Oh, I see…" My voice was barely loud enough for her to hear me.
I have no need to ask about the missing posters I used to have on my wall then.
"What's wrong Aldous, you've been acting strange since this morning," She asked worriedly
"I'm alright mom, I was just imagining things," I said while putting the trash bags in the trash bin.
I hold the bin open for my mom to put in the bag of trash she has.
As she's about to place her bag inside the trash bin, a glass beer bottle comes flying into the trashcan nearly hitting her hand!
I hear two people chuckling like degenerate squirrels.
She quickly drops the bag inside the bin and I close it.
We look at the neighbor's house and see them break out into a peal of laughter.
"Why'd ya close it, damn kid!" Said the hillbilly.
He was short and had a head that looked akin to an acorn.
"Ye, yer ruin'in our game here ye hear! HAHAHAHA!" Said the one who threw the bottle.
He had an ugly beard that appeared to have never been cleaned or taken care of. The beard looked like he had dead yellow grass mixed with horse hay on his chin.
Each time I saw them I visibly cringed.
These are our neighbors and they are the most toxic beings I have seen. They have had the cops called on them multiple times, but the police never came.
I don't want to play the "racist cop card" but it's really all I can leave it at.
We live in a mostly black neighborhood with around 35% of it being Hispanic. There is one thing strange though.
We have 2 white neighbors, on top of that, they are hillbillies.
I don't have a problem with white people at all, but these uncultured pigs who sit outside on their porch all day, pick fights and cause unnecessary problems should be disposed of.
I went to take out the trash one morning and saw them stomping on someone. The entire block was outside of their respective homes staring at them, yet staying near their door, fearful in case one of the hillbillies try to dash at them.
Why do they always start problems the moment I start taking out the trash?
I pick up one of the beer bottles behind them, using my telekinesis, and bring it a few feet above the head of the one who threw the bottle.
I release my telekinesis on the bottle as it fell.
I'm not stupid enough to make any remark and expose myself as someone with powers. Who knows if there are people being tested on right now that had exposed themselves?
As I turned my back and escorted my mom inside the house, I smirked.
The sound of glass shattering was present. But it slightly paled in comparison to the screaming I heard in the background.
I feel no pity for them, why should I? If they had have hit my mom she would have been the one screaming after all.
Not like I would have let them live after that.
I haven't killed before but I'm sure it would be easy to do so, considering I won't have to touch the weapon with anything other than my telekinesis.
My accuracy would be another thing though.
I close the backdoor and go to my room to train again, knowing that I need to get stronger and improve in all my aspects.
I train nonstop for hours by picking up pencils and papers and spinning them around me.
"Hey, your dad brought you guys something!" I hear my little brother say while he knocks at my door.
"Alright, I'm on my way!" I say while stopping my training.
I don't seem to be improving much though, Mabey I should find something heavier to lift.
My dad sent James and I a long amazon delivery box.
James had already opened the box and took a pair of what he had seen inside.
"Hey, this is what's in the box," He says while showing me the things in his hand it was a scalpel and curette.
Of course, I didn't know what that was and neither did James.
I also didn't know why such a long box was used to hold such small tools.
So by going off what was in the box, we assumed them to be part of a weapon maintenance kit. Despite the tools being used for taking DNA and other things.
This was because inside the box were five things. two scalpels, two curette, and a picture of two tanto side to side.
One tanto had a purple handle and a grey blade, the other had a white handle and a silver blade.
Both scalpel and curette had a black puzzle piece infused on them. When putting together a scalpel with its respective curette it made the puzzle form a kanji.
The kanji mine formed was the kanji for "Wind", it was written in silver color.
The kanji my brother's scalpel and curette had formed was the kanji for "Lightning", it was written in light gray color.
We did not pay much attention to them as we did not own any weapons currently and were too fascinated with our new powers to think about it more.
"Thanks for handing it to me," I say while taking it into my room
"We should probably do some physical training too in order to see if it will improve our abilities, and so we can have six-pack abs," I say while placing the scalpel and curette on my dresser.
"We have all this time to ourselves, after all, quarantine remember?" I add on.
"Hey, don't you think something's off?" My brother says while looking me in the eye.
"Yeah, I was looking for a good time to mention it to you," I said while walking into my room and sitting on the couch in there.

Please comment if I should add other anime into this world! I have already written the 5th chapter and this is really important you know!
Wow, I did exactly 999 words and couldn't think of a single way to extend the dialogue.
(yes I could lol)
Please comment if I should add other anime into this world!
I hope more people find this novel and are able to enjoy it. I didn't have any dreams today but I wrote down some stuff, hopefully, it won't feel forced when I publish it tomorrow.
