Li Yao was all too familiar with these tactics of big guilds. When they were certain of being live-streamed, they wouldn't openly kill lone players, as it would invite resentment and potential vendettas.

So, they usually allowed some thieves to leave the guild and clear the target area, reducing the chances of unexpected incidents.

In previous games, many freelance players didn't fear large guilds and would seize an opportunity during the guild's events. Although they mostly failed, there were many successes, tarnishing the guild's reputation on live-stream.
