Will he announce you?

As the days passed I worried, Edward was stuck at the Palace busy working. While I had to stay here at home pretending I didn't care. 'Is this what happens when you marry a king. You get treated as if you were just a normal peasant. You wouldn't get any type of special treatment.' No one would ever guess I was married to the king.

"Lizzie! There's a man outside asking for you!" I turned my head as I walked in the direction of the door. A man was out there with a letter, when I realized the situation I ran out. I showed my respect, and I took the letter.

"There's nothing in this letter that proves we're married Mother. This is more of a Lover's letter than a married couple. I'm starting to think he views me as Just a Lover." The letter Edward had sent made me think he viewed me as Just a mistress, what did I possibly do to have him treat me like this.

"Elizabeth I'm sure it's just a cover to make sure no one finds out about your marriage. Besides there could be people that check his letters, the way the letter is written is to prove to them that your just a mistress. I'm sure he loves you very much." I turned around "Mother but why must we keep it a secret, why can't he reveal to the world we are married. If he ashamed of me, I do not know what to believe anymore."

I walked away from the garden, I was ready to just start living my peasant life again.

"Elizabeth! Elizabeth wait up! Elizabeth, The King has invited Father and John along with me to announce his marriage." My face went from a frown to a smile. "His marriage to me?"

"His marriage to the Princess Of France." That smile went away as fast as it came, "What do you mean his marriage to the Princess Of France? He is my husband, he should be announcing his marriage to me not anyone else."

"We don't know who he's gonna announce we just know he's announcing a marriage. I warn you Elizabeth, what King's love is power. He would do anything to get more power and more land. Marrying the Princess of France would give him that."

"You will go though, right? You will go to find out wether he will remain faithful to me or marry someone else. Please Antony!" I begged my brother to go, not because I wanted him to come back and tell me the truth,...

but because I wanted him to try to convince Edward to announce his private marriage to me of course.

"Okay Elizabeth what if we do go, If Edward were to announce his marriage to you Father and John will find out. And if he doesn't we will be forced to tell Father and John about the marriage and they will do something they will both regret in the Future."

"We will tell Father and John when the time is right Antony. For now they must remain clueless of my marriage to the King. If they find out they will go over there not to make sure he announces his marriage to me, but to insult him. And I tell you Edward might just want to add a couple heads to his walls."

What Elizabeth said was true. The King would do anything to make sure this marriage were not to come out if he did not want it to. John hated the mans guts, he would freak to find out he had tricked his sister into marrying him.

"If we tell them before he announces we can not do anything but hope for the best. That the king announces you as his bride. But will he announce you?"

"That I do not know Antony, but If he does I would become the Queen Of England." I do not want to be a Queen if the people will hate me. Compared to the French Princess I'm nothing but a speck of dust. I only hope that to Edward I am a Queen, that is all I wish.

For the man I love to love me as much as I love him. If he announces me that love will only grow, if he doesn't my fate has been decided. I would not be destined to be queen, my children wouldn't be destined to be Princess's and Princes.
