Chapter 58: An Unexpected Surprise Part 1

The gentle rays of the rising sun peered their way through the light curtains and provided a serene light in the room. Our naked bodies were still in each other's embrace, with Emia lost in her serene dreams wearing a light smile on her lips. The warmth of her body was a temptation, and I was trying his best to not fall for it. 

I looked at her sleeping face with eyes filled with affection. I moved away a few strands of white hair overlapping her face behind her ears and I give her kiss on her forehead while I muttered. ''I love you''

I need to find an alternative solution to quickly heal my injuries. I should ask Black if there's another method to quickly heal besides sucking blood. I can't bring myself to suck their (My girls) blood essences without restraint. They will lose all their hard-earned cultivation.

Suddenly, while I was lost in my thoughts, I felt a hand sneak down my torso and grab onto my resting member. It knew it was Emia's hand. She teasingly squeezed my member and planted a kiss on my chest.

"Morning!" She said. Her mischievous eyes were smiling in satisfaction and expectation.

"Good Morning, Love!" I said and planted a kiss on her forehead. "I am afraid if we continue with our play, we will be late for today's class."

"Humph. If you want to make excuses then at least put up a decent one. Since when did you start caring about classes?" Emia looked displeased by my words. She took her hand off my member and smacked a punch on my chest.

I couldn't help but laugh at her actions. This personality of Emea is sure interesting. Emea will never have behaved like that. Well, they had different personalities after all.

''Let's Go''

Emia got up and followed me to the bathroom. We took a bath and changed into our school uniforms before heading to our class.

Soon, we entered the class, all eyes were on us. Emea and others chuckled, Emia joined them. I sat down with a smile but I could feel Leon and Luxor killing intents. I chuckled, I was expecting Lumis and Grimm reactions, however, they don't seem bothered by the fact that Emia and I arrived together hand in hand. Come to think, they don't know that Emia and Emea were the same person. Interesting! I won't let them know.

"Hello, everyone. Let's start today class.'' Miss Asmodeus said.

I didn't even saw her entering. I was lost in my thoughts.

''Today, We will talk about our world history.'' Our teacher announced before asking.

''Who can give me a brief summary of the history of our world.?''

No one said anything. Why did she suddenly want to talk about the history of our world?

Finally, Miss Asmodeus chose me when no one said anything after hearing her question.

I stood up and explained ''Our world was created by Gods, seven gods and goddesses, nobody knows their names nor how they look like. The Seven created all races that exist in the world. There have been two wars. Two thousand years after the second war a purple asteroid had fallen in our world bringing a New Era: The mutant Era. That's all I know.''

''Oh? I almost forgot to mention the races created by the seven gods and goddesses. The races they had created are the Human race, Elven race, Demon race, Angel race, and lastly The Vampire race. ''

When I talked about the last race I glanced at Lumis and Grimm with the corner of mouth curled up.

''Blasphemous! How dare you to utter that nonsense. They have never created that accursed and bloodthirsty race. '' Lumis roared.

As I was expected, I smiled evilly, my provocation worked. I put on a startled expression and asked.

''Oh? My bad. So, you're saying that the seven gods and goddesses had not created the vampire race. Then, who created them? Another God/Goddess? An Eighth God/Goddess?"

Lumis glared at me, he knew I was playing with him. Normally, He won't have fallen for my trick, however, he did because what I had said angered him. None of them had created the Vampire race. I know it because I was the one who created them. He cannot say that it was me, nor it was a eighth God. He will never acknowledge me as God. His pride won't allow it even when I'm powerful than them.

'' There is no eighth God. Don't..''

''Enough you two. They may or may have not created them. Who can tell us why the first War started?" Miss Asmodeus interrupted Lumis and asked.

'' It started because of Greed'' I said.

''Oh! Explain to us, Kyle why you said that it was because of greed'' Miss Asmodeus asked.

'' I said it is Greed, for the simple reason that One of the races existing wanted to control the other, to be the Overlord of this world. An overload can control all resources in the world, can control more territories. How could the other races tolerate that, it why the first war started.'' I explained.

''You're not wrong. Let's proceed, the second war started because of the Vampire race. Their reason to start this War was unknown. This War was called The Bloody war, lots of lives were lost. Even the Angel race was completely exterminated. The war ended and the Vampire race, disappeared to God know where. Like Kyle had said, Two thousand years later, an asteroid fell in our world. Thus, a New Era began. The Awakening Era: All the races evolved, turning into today mutant, capable of amazing things. The world transformed, animals mutated as well. ''

Miss Asmodeus took a deep breath before asking us '' Who can tell me if there were any powerful men in our world before the Awakening Era?"

No one said anything again. In the past, there were cultivators, in my era.

'' I see. You don't know. Well, in the past there were a Cultivators, it was how they were called. Their Cultivation was totally different from today's Cultivation (Tier). Some of these Cultivators were capable of manipulating elements. Those Cultivators were classified into several categories: Martial artists, Body cultivators, Spirit Cultivators and so on.. However, everything changed after the Awakening Era. When, the purple asteroid crashed into Ethernasia, the energy it contained changed the world and us the inhabitants. Nowadays, there are no more Ancient Cultivators. ''

Miss Asmodeus explained before muttering under her breath ''It would have been wonderful if we have a piece of that mysterious purple asteroid to study it. Alas, we found nothing until now, as though it has vanished overnight. Let's end today classes. See you tomorrow.''

On our way back to our respective dorms, Snow called me.

''Kyle, I need to tell you something. So, I'll come to your room later. See you soon.''

''Sure. I'll be waiting for you.'' I responded.

Snow joined the other girls afterward. I chuckled looking at fuming Lumis and Grimm before disappearing in flash. I wonder what my little Snow wanted to tell me. Well, soon I'll know.
