14. Summons Part 1

I woke up from yesterday's events feeling refreshed. I went down and saw Vali watching cartoons while Azazel is reading a newspaper with a cup of coffee. I took out my milk carton in the fridge and asked Vali before sitting alongside Azazel in the dining table.

"Enjoy what you're watching?" Vali nodded before focusing once again in the cartoon. Azazel then puts down the newspaper and said to me.

"Vergil, were going to Grigori, maybe for a week or two, I will ask Barakiel's permission to use the training ground 3 in there. Until then you can do what you want in the house even if you decide to bring in some girls to have some fun, but do clean up afterwards." 'This prick of an uncle, always thinking about s*x besides researching sacred gears.'

"Wait, can't you just teleport there and crash in? Why ask permission?" To which Azazel proudly exclaimed.

"Although I can use it, I need Barakiel's permission to use it. They kicked me out saying, I'm teaching the wrong things about the people there. I don't get them, I'm just teaching them the pleasure of s*x, what's wrong with that?" Uhhhhhhh, Uncle, really? Even I would kick you out of there. I'm really sure you've fallen because of your lust. No doubts about it. No, I'm 200% sure of it.

A doorbell sounded as Azazel pointed that breakfast has arrived. I opened the door and received our breakfast, as usual, pizza for me, burger for Azazel, and nuggets for Vali.

We cleaned up after eating then they started packing for their training session, I then asked Azazel if he could use his connections to sell an artwork of mine. He nodded and looked at the canvass covered in black cloth.

"Don't put your hopes up, Vergil. Even if it is a beautiful artwork, you are nameless in the art world. So the value might not be high than your run of the mill artwork. I'll just send you the money if someone bought it. Don't worry I will buy it in case no one bought it for you." He said to which I nodded.

If he saw the artwork, he would immediately ask me to sell it directly to him, but I won't. He would buy it from me dirt cheap and still haggle for it just to show it off to his girls outside. Too bad for him, it was covered in black cloth.

My painting may not have carved history in my last life, but the amount I've gained from selling artworks... is massive. I also left my signature at the back of my works, which is just a single letter. V.

After packing everything making sure that nothing is left behind, Azazel started his car and Vali looked at my direction and I nodded at him to assure him, Azazel would make him understand his sacred gear better rather than figuring it out on your own.

He then opened the car door and they left. Leaving me alone in the house, it looks like I wouldn't be expecting visitors either. 'If no one's coming, I should use the summon tickets, it would rot in my inventory if I didn't use them.'

I then went to the backyard and cleaned it up before summoning Griffon and the others in their original forms. Pantera lied in the ground while Groc turned small and rolled around the yard.(They are the panther and Golem familiar alongside Griffon)

"Hey, hey, Vergil. What's wrong? Why the summon? In our original form too, I smell you're planning something."

"Yeah, just wait there and enjoy the time in the yard, don't break any pots or I will make you pay." Griffon nodded fastly.

I then watch them for a while making sure they won't do anything that will ruin the yard. Seeing them in their comfort spots, I then focused on my inventory as it opened.

[Inventory

2x A-rank random summoning ticket

4x B-rank random summoning ticket

3x C-rank preferred random summoning ticket

3x E-rank random summoning ticket

Vergil's equipments

Art stuffs

]

I decided to experiment on the tickets by using the E-rank ticket. A white orb spawned in front of me as I grabbed it, it turned into a normal fork.

[Fork

Just a normal cutlery used for eating

]

"Uhhh, is E-rank full of useless things or summon?" I want to check out if it really is useless.

Another white orb formed and I grabbed it, it turned into a coin. I was dumbfounded as I waited for the coin's description.

[Lucky Coin(consumable)

It would raise your luck for a day before disintegrating into ashes after a day of usage

]

Eh? Thought E-rank were full of useless junk. I then used the lucky coin meaning, my luck improved for a day, which I exactly needed as I will use the summoning tickets.

I wanted to test out my luck as I pressed the last E-rank ticket. A white orb once again spawned in front of me. I was about to grab it when the orb changed into a figure of a person, it then showed that it was a girl as the hair popped out from the orb.

Soon the orb transformed into a human, she has a straight and shiny thigh-length straight purple hair that has a triangular fringe at the front which barely touches the ridge of her nose, blue eyes, she is quite tall for a Japanese kid and she had relatively long limbs.

I was stoked at her appearance as I know her. I know that she is a human also a genius in swordsmanship, but why E-rank? Does my summon correlate to this world's rank? I was taken out of my stupor when the figure then kneeled in front of me and said

"Use me as your sword master." she said. 'Eh? complete loyalty?'

"No need to, I accomplish my goals with own hands and power. All of my summons, to me, are another part of my family. Even though Griffon and the others are annoying, well mostly Griffon only. Even if they are just an abominable thought created from my nightmares, they were still once a part of me."

I said and looked at Griffon, but I saw him crashing in a pot breaking it.

"You freaking bird! I said you can do anything you want! I only gave a simple rule! DON'T. BREAK. ANY. POT. Those are Azazel's collection! I'm f*cked." while I'm berating Griffon, the girl watched our interaction before smiling at our interaction.

Saeko Busujima is out, since many suggested her, I decided to put her in first. I've also decided to use Tarot Cards as my system.
