The strong smell of blood and ethanol welcomed Reese's system.

She felt really energized and everything, she opened her eyes and she can see the room in all white.

She looked around and saw that she's having blood transfusion and Reese tried to remember what happened.

Why was she here again? Why would she need this blood? What happened to her?

Dahan-dahan na tumayo si Reese at inalalayan ang sarili niya sa pagtayo gamit ang siko niya.

Reese took her bag that was on the bedside table and she took the cranberry juice she stored in her bag.

Reese heard the door creak open.

She saw her grandfather talking to the doctor in front of her.

As soon as she saw her grandfather, she already remembered what happened.

"Reese! You're awake!" Reese can sense worry in her grandfather's voice.

But the bitterness sat on her tongue.

"So, I'm not related to the Chen family after all… I'm glad." Wika ni Reese.

Tinignan ni Reese ang nakasaksak sa kamay niya para sa blood transfusion, hinugot niya iyon.

"Hey, stay still —"

"Don't stop me." Malamig na wika ni Reese sa doctor.

"I'm sorry, Reese… I wasn't able to tell you about it —"

"Like hell I care if I'm related to you or not. Spill everything you know about me, tell me every single detail." Deretsa na wika ni Reese.

"Reese, you have to calm yourself down and please —"

"Bullshit." Mahinang wika ni Reese at kinuha ang kutsilyo na nasa mansanas.

Tinutok niya iyon sa pulsuhan niya at bumuntong hininga.

"Anong ginagawa mo, Reese? Ibaba mo 'yan!" Sigaw ng lolo niya sa kanya at nakita niya na mag tatawag na ng tulong ang doktor ngunit pinigilan iyon ni Reese.

She cutted her own wrist and blood started to flow down on her arms. Reese did not feel any pain and she took the cranberry juice she had and drank it, greedily.

The cut she had slowly healed itself as if she did not cut anything. It was back to what it was.

"Tell me who and where my true family is! Tell me everything!" Sigaw ni Reese at binato ang hawak niyang cranberry juice.

"I'm sorry, Reese…" Mahinang wika ng lolo niya sa kanya at nilapitan siya.

A tear fell on Reese's cheeks and every single thing hurts.

"Tell me everything… please… No lies this time, I'm tired…" Mahinang wika ni Reese sa matanda.

"Your mother died as soon as she gave birth to you and I was the doctor…" Mahinang sagot ng lolo niya sa kanya.

Reese looked at her grandfather straight in the eyes and a tear escaped in his eyes.

"Then why did you lie? Why did you let them make me suffer like this?" Reese said in a hurtful voice. "Tell me who I am, I am not normal —"

"You're an immortal, Reese." Biglaang singit ng doktor sa likod niya. "The juice you were drinking was blood. It was not juice, you supplied yourself with human blood."

"B...Blood…?" Nagtataka na wika ni Reese. "What are you saying? I'm an immortal? What kind of joke is that?" Reese started to freak out and everything was just unsafe for her.

Nabigla si Reese nang saksakan siya ng lolo niya ng isang gamot at nagsimulang manghina si Reese.

She slumped down on the floor and it was as if she was paralyzed.

"I can't let you hurt me, Reese. I'm willing to tell you everything I know." Wika ng lolo niya sa kanya.

Reese was crying and she couldn't feel anything with her own body and she was really paralyzed.

Hindi alam ni Reese ang nararamdaman niya dahil sa gulo. She felt like she was treated like some animal in the streets.

"Your mother… she was scared of your father's ability. She knew that she would die as soon as she gave birth to you so your mother fled and came to the city." Wika ng lolo niya sa kanya.

Reese couldn't believe that the grandfather she knew she had was just the one who helped her mother have birth to her.

"Please be obedient and we'll have to prepare everything you need, Reese." Wika ng lolo niya.

Reese was transferred back to her bed and she looked at her grandfather and the doctor left her there, paralyzed.

Eto ba ang ibig sabihin ni Kier? Eto ba yung dapat niyang malaman?

Ano ang koneksyon nito sa libro at sa necklace?

Reese needed just a few minutes to remove the thing her grandfather injected to her.

Hindi makapaniwala si Reese na sa lahat-lahat na nangyayari ngayon.

In just a day, Reese was able to hear every single thing her pretend grandfather and parents kept all these years…

It doesn't hurt Reese with the fact that she's not a true Chen, but what hurts the most for her was the fact that her grandfather knew about the torture her pretend parents to her.

Tapos malalaman ni Reese na hinayaan lang iyon ng taong pinagkakatiwalaan niya.

Reese took her bag and took her cellphone out. She saw a message from Kier and she opened it.

[Run as fast as you can. You can never win a race if you have something that slows you down.]

She did not mind what the message meant but Reese needs to leave the place. She can't stay here anymore.

Reese took her change of clothes and changed her hospital gown into the dress she wore earlier.

Reese was surprised to see cops inside her room and it was as if they were waiting for her.

She stood there like something froze her up and Reese was really confused.

The cop faced her and he was holding a paper.

"Are you Ms. Reese Chen?" The cop asked her.

Reese was stuck in between keeping herself quiet or escaping. She doesn't know why the cops are getting involved. Did her grandfather call them? Did he know about the murder she did?

Reese pulled herself up and looked at them with authority.

"What's wrong? Is there anything I can help you with?" Reese asked the cops in a calm tone.

The other cop opened the paper he was holding and showed her a warrant of arrest.

"Ms. Chen, you have no rights to ---"

Hindi na pinatapos ni Reese ang sasabihin nito dahil kaagad na lumabas si Reese sa kuwartong iyon at sinimulang tumakbo.

"Hey, stop right there!" The cops exclaimed.

Maraming napapatingin na tao sa kanya. Sino ba namang hindi mabibigla sa nakikita?

A girl trying to escape from her arrest because of her crime. But, Reese doesn't want herself behind bars --- she wants to finish this mystery, she wants the truth of who she is.

"Stop!"

Napatingin si Reese sa likod niya at nakita niya na nakakahabol na ang mga ito sa kanya, she saw how they took their guns and Reese doesn't want to involve violence inside the hospital.

As soon as she saw something that might help her slow them down, she pulled the vacant wheelchair and threw it to the cops.

Getting away and not showing up will help her. This is the best idea Reese can come up.

As soon as Reese got out of the hospital, she immediately went over to a man's car.

She pulled the man and went inside his car.

"Hey, this is my car ---"

Reese closed the door and she started to drive at a high speed. She has to go somewhere far away where the people who know her won't see her.

A tear escaped from Reese's eyes. Everything confuses her and she just wants to return with nothing but ashes, she wants to rest.

The blue-red lights and police siren welcomed Reese's sight. There were three police cars behind her and she did her best to drive faster so she could flee… so she can disappear.

She took a lot of turns to the point that she's already lost, hindi niya na alam kung nasaan siya.

Reese gripped at the steering wheel tightly, she looked at her hands and saw the ring on her finger.

Her wedding ring.

Severus popped into her head and then she concluded…

After this night, she can no longer be Severus' wife.

Everything's been fun, but it has its own limitation --- she can't put shame on her husband's family…

Reese froze when she suddenly saw a truck coming in her direction. The light flashed through Reese's eyes and everything happened fast.

Kaagad na niliko niya ang kotse palayo sa truck, Reese lost control of the car.

The car crashed on a tree and the impact was severe, she felt blood flowing through her face and her body hurt.

Reese sobbed as soon as she realizes that everything's done now. She couldn't even say goodbye to the person she loves…

It's been happy for Reese for these few months, enough was enough...
