Battle of the lake

*Whoosh* *Crash!* the sound of large rocks fly above my head and the cheers and roars of the orcs surround me. Well the lake to be exact but still it's very loud.

Swimming to the shore I slowly rise out of the water to face the orcs behind the tree wall. From their perspective a giant lizard like creature slowly rose from the water releasing an intimidating aura.

Taking in a deep breath I give them my warning *RRROOOAAARRR!!!*

Weakening under the pressure from myself they step back a few steps before one of them roars back. Soon the battlefield is filled with the sounds of war.

*Roar!* *Dum* *Dum* *Dum* *Bang*

The land is filled with the roars, drums, and banging of weapons of the orcs. Not waiting any longer I walk towards them.

*Stomp* *Stomp* looking at the army that had assembled I grow excited. Letting a menacing and toothy grin I begin the battle.

Charging forward I crash and squash the front orcs that are in my way. Arriving in the middle of the orcs I do a quick 180 degree spin keeping my tail close to the ground. *Snap* *Crunch* *Splat* Killing many orcs the sky is now raining with blood.

*Bang* a rock came flying from close by. Hitting Anna in the arm caused her to retract a bit. The rocks that were launched at her wouldn't deal much damage to her if they had not been on a magic enchanted catapult.

The orcs aren't a race for using their brains but that doesn't apply to all the orcs. One of the orc chiefs named Olok had the capability to use his brain for much better use. He had bought these magical catapults from the draconic tribe many years ago.

The draconic tribe will sell anything for the right price. They are a race that has high greed when it comes to money, and the orcs don't have a need for small pieces of metal so it was a win-win situation.

So when the orc chief Olok had said to keep all of the small round coins, they had collected up a huge amount over the years. This allowed them to be able to buy magical enchanted catapults and even supply his orcs with better equipment.

Soon the battlefield became a sea of blood and body parts. Anna standing in the middle of a sea of orcs that no matter how tough the situation continue attacking.

The sounds of metal both sharp and blunt fill the air as they hit Anna. Little cuts equivalent to paper cuts fill the lower part of Anna's body. However before they can become anymore of a deeper wound they heal.

The battle continues as Anna slashes at the ground with her claws and sweeping her tail across the ground killing many at a time.

*Whoosh* *Stab* from the tree line a ballista bolt flys towards Anna and stabs into her side. *Roar!* letting out a roar of pain she turns to look at where it came from.

In the tree line another wave of orcs arrive only this time better equipped. The first wave of orcs was cannon fodder and the second was when it really started.

Coming out of the tree line ballistas and orcs wearing black armour flow out. Line upon line of troops pour out of the trees facing Anna.

On the hill not too far a way a lens flare is spotted. *Splat* the head of a orc squadron leader explodes followed with the sound of a gun firing off *Bang*.

Soon a hail of gun fire rains from the hill onto the orc army. Bullets rip through the armour as the orcs charge towards Anna ignoring their comrades falling around them.

The battle turned into a huge charge by the orc forces. Thousands of orcs charged. It had been one of the biggest charge battles to count yet.

Orcs were falling before they even reached Anna. Bullets flew ripping them to shreds meanwhile Anna focused on attacking and destroying any ballista turrets.

Having enough of the child's play Anna stood tall. Slowly her dorsal plates starting from her tail glowed a violet purple with a faint trace of blue. The atmosphere changed and the orcs had finally halted once they realised something was going to happen. The bullets from the hills stopped as elves watched in both awe and excitement.

Soon Anna's eyes began to glow before she opened her mouth to release extremely hot and powerful breath. The fire like breath fell onto the approaching orcs.

The field was engulfed in Anna's breath attack leaving none of the orcs alive. The once thousands of thousands strong orc army now left to only a few hundred survivors.

The air fell silent while Anna exhaled and glared down to the remains of the orc army. *Growl* letting out a growl was the sound of retreat for the orcs.

Turning her gaze towards the hill the gun fire came from she looked for the culprits. Seeing five figures wearing cloaks and masks she decided to ignore them unless they attacked her.

Heading back towards the lake she let herself relax in the liquid mana.

*Sigh* that was a fun little battle. I even had the support of third party that joined in. I can't wait for when I can join in even bigger scaled battles.

*Creak* *Crack* turning around I saw that the trees that acted as a barrier to this mana lake had opened up. Looking more closer I can see those cloaked figures standing there.

The one in the lead for some reason increased their pace towards me. Aren't they meant to be scared?

Arriving at the edge of the lake the figure stopped and stared at me. Tilting my head slightly I look confused at the figure in black.

The figure seemingly noticing the confusion in my eyes took of the cloak and mask. What stood there was a beautiful elven girl. I'll have to admit she slightly stunned me with how beautiful she is but upon closer look she resembled someone, but who?

The figure took a deep breath before she shouted much to the shock of Anna "Anna is that you? Did you come here as well? Please answer me in anyway I need to know!"

Wait wait wait, what? Is... is that Tia. Now that I look closer she does have some resemblance... damn I'm tearing up.

Laying here in the water I and the girl stare at each other as the sun shines down creating this beautiful scene. The only thing I could think of is 'is that you Tia? My first love, my only love, the one I only had, is that you?'
