"Are you able to understand what she is saying?" Kai moved towards us.

"Yeah, I speak archaic"

"oh?" Kai seemed confused, he has a considerable amount of magic but I guess he uses other chanting languages "Can she understand me?"

I nodded in response

"My name is Kai, Rank A adventurer"

"Hiyori, Rank C"

He rubbed the back of his head shyly asking " Hiyori-san would you like to link?"

"Link?" even if my pronunciation was off but Kai still understood and nodded his head

Confused by what he had mentioned I turned to Nine for an explanation

According to him guild cards can link to each other, something similar to sharing contacts. If one was in need of help, they could contact the guild or other adventurers for back up.

I was about to decline when Nine snatched my card and linked himself and Kai to my card

"There, now I can contact you" – Nine

Shaking my head, I turned to face Nami and Takashi they seemed ready to depart.

I bid my good byes and returned to the Inn to collect our stuff so that we could head towards the Market to purchase some of the remaining items.

While standing outside a shop I saw, beautiful purple colored banners with something written on it

"Hey Nami! What are those for?"

Nami gazed toward the banner her face paled, she grabbed my hand "Hiyori-sama can we go back to the Nether mountain now? Please!"

"Nami? Whats wrong?"

"Hiyori sama, Mysia Kingdom is doing the summoning of the hero and the maiden" Nami trembled at the thought.

Once I heard those words my body stiffened, this means those insects have deemed me an enemy, they couldn't succeed in controlling… So they plan to eliminate me.

Takashi and Nami grabbed my hand and the bags of the purchased products, my head had become muddled, one thought prevailed… Get rid of them all

I sometimes cant tell apart if its my desire alone or this body's, it frustrates me the thought of loosing control, im not someone vicious not without a good reason.

When I snapped out of my train of thought Nami and Takashi had brought me to the tree outside the Town where the [Spatial Displacement] had first brought us after the mission.

The worry in their face's was obvious, but we will have to make preparations if this situation starts to get out of hand.

Ughhhh I both hate and love this spell…

Every time I use it, the same feeling gets to me as when the rollercoaster goes down in a steep place. We appeared in the center of our village, whilom I was trying to hold my guts the people started approaching us with happy smiles.

"We have brought back an assorted quantity of thing if you need something you can come to Takashi for food supply and Nami for fabric and other hygiene items"

Walking to the nearby bench a Nyako who I named Neganta came to sit by me, her belly seemed more evident now, the first time I saw her she was beaten black and blue with her mate because she refused the idea of the slave merchants taking her young away from her. After bringing her to the mountain her bruises disappeared and her skinny complexion disappeared.

"Devil Lord-sama, did you perhaps need to talk?"

"I've told you to call me Hiyori"

"I wouldn't dare do so, you are my family's saviour and not to mention THE Devil Lord" She had a smile on her face that was hard to discern "So? What happened?"

"You really never give up do you? We saw banners that forenamed the summoning of the hero and the maiden"

Neganta's face paled, they are afraid and so am I.

"Its okay" Patting her back to get her to calm down "there is a barrier and an illusion spell cast upon this place, even if there is someone stupid enough to come here, they won't be able to get in. I'll make sure of it"

A dim green evoloped my hand I rubbed her hand, leaving her in a drowsy like state. Her mate came once he saw her lean of my shoulder. It does no good for her to worry.

After the supply was distributed the people returned to their homes including myself, simple but cozy that's all that mattered.
