Jennifer came out of the washroom and went straight into the CEO's office.
She knocked on the door and entered when she heard Melvin say, "Come in."
Jennifer sat down with her file. She had hoped to see Stella, but was disappointed when she saw that Melvin had come alone.
"Good morning Mr.Auger, nice to meet you." Jennifer greeted him formally.
Melvin nodded back.
Jennifer then explained the ideas which she and Emmett had come to agree with. Those could easily solve the problem.
Melvin listened carefully and was amazed by the ideas. He meaningfully looked at Emmett, he was proud of his brother-in-law. With him how could he be worried.
But Emmett did some exception, he had never done before. He spoke, with a poker face, "It was majorly her ideas. So you should thank her."
Melvin was surprised. He had never seen Emmett talking about someone without hesitation.
Emmett was his childhood friend. They were together till their High education. He was basically his best friend. He had never once heard Emmett justifying for someone, not even his parents.
Melvin and Emma were in love in their High School days and got married very early. Melvin was just 21 that year.
Emma was one year smaller than Melvin. She basically helped him in his company. She got pregnant at 21. Stella was born at that time, when Emma and Melvin were working hard in establishing the company. So Stella would mostly be with Derek, as he loved children. Emmett also got attached to Stella and started to communicate more, than he usually did.
Melvin faintly smiled recalling their childhood days.
He stared intently at Jennifer. She looked very ugly with the blisters and marks on her face. She also wore a big spectacle which covered half of her face.
Jennifer was always careful. She didn't only apply fake blisters and spots, but she first wore a ugly makeup, which completely made her look different from her real self. Even if one would have seen her plainly in her ugly makeup, they wouldn't be able to recognise her, it went same for her mother.
She looked completely different, but she wouldn't take any risks, hence she applied blisters, to make sure that nobody could recognise her.
The only thing she matched with her real face to the makeup one was her blue eyes.
She had very beautiful eyes. Her eyes were also slightly different from others. Nobody could ever spot the difference, if not looked carefully. But Emmett firmly guessed that she must be the Jenny he knew.
The Jenny back then had told him about her eyes, which her mother was also not aware of.
It was a magic of heredity.
Melvin spoke after quietly accessing Jennifer, "Thank you Ms.Benoit. You have helped me a lot. Now, I owe you a lot. Please do not hesitate to ask me for help, if needed."
Melvin was seriously very thankful and he always paid off his debts. His sub-branch was nearly becoming bankrupt. He was truly thankful for Jennifer's help.
But she politely declined with a smile, "No need to be this formal, Mr.Auger. I did it merely because it was one of my project. You don't owe me anything."
Jennifer was a outspoken woman. She never hesitated in speaking her thoughts openly.
Melvin liked her bold behaviour and didn't continue with the topic.
