That's what Chloe's always heard when she entered the school.
Chloe Villaflor is a seventeen years old girl who lived in Trinity Ville. Where every house is far from each other, she is the only child. Her mother died when she gave birth to Chloe. Chloe's father was the only person she had.
Chloe is kind-hearted, respectful, and diligent. She has been a working student. She keeps working to have an extra income to support herself, sustain their needs, and help her father.
After class, Chloe went to her work as a waitress in a coffee shop and went back home late at night. Even in their house, Chloe is still the one who cleaned their house, washing dishes, and cooked for her father.
Her father went back home late at night and drunk. Their neighbors, friends, relatives, and also Chloe have no idea that her father took drugs. Her father molested Chloe. He kept on hurting Chloe because he used to blame Chloe every time he missed his wife. After all, she's the reason his wife died. Chloe can't fight, and all she needs is to cry.
Chloe was traumatized because of what happened. She used to say nothing when she went to school. Her teacher saw the bruises and scratched on her body.
"What happened to you, Chloe? Are you alright? Where did you get that bruises in your face and your body?" Her teacher asked. But Chloe used to say nothing. Her teacher only knew that her father hurt her.
She's trying her best to finish her studies and to achieve her dreams so that she can go away far from her father.
Chloe ignores those hurtful words that she heard. But when her best friend named Tina was the one who listened to those hateful words. She always tries her best to save Chloe from them. They know about each other's secrets and personality, and for five years of being a best friend, they did not keep secrets from each other.
Chloe and Tina were on their way home when they saw Christian. Christian is also the best friend of Tina, and he has hidden feelings for Chloe.
"Christian!" called Tina. Christian nods her head as a response, and he turned his eyes to Chloe, whose silent and busy observing the things around her.
"I just wanted to invite you to watch our basketball game later," Christian asked with smiling. Tina looked at Chloe with a confused face.
"Alright!" said Chloe.
"Are you sure?" asked Christian.
"Yes! We were going!" Tina shouted because of so much excitement.
Tina thought that Chloe couldn't go because she knew that Chloe has nothing to do with her work.
