Ares and Athena were looking down at the submerged orange creature's huge fish head sticking out of the water intently watching them as it rapidly healed in its watery embrace, unsure of what to do next. Both were tired from fighting each other even before it showed up, and now they were debating on whether continuing was even worth it anymore.

Neither of them use to putting so much effort into any one thing for such a very long time now. Usually quitting well before things ever got drawn out so long despite any boisterous monologues that would have you believe differently, having grown lazy over the years like the rest of the gods wasting their time sitting around Olympus while overseeing the mortals from time to time with little in the way of challenge.

They were brought out of such musings when the dark cloudy skies crackled with lightning and thunder causing both to flinch knowing what was coming next.

A second later a big bolt struck right next to them revealing Zeus and Poseidon with residual lightning crawling all over them much to the latter's distaste as he waved them off.

Athena and Ares quickly shook off their weariness and bowed together saying, "My king."

Zeus stared down at them with contempt before his eyes shifted to the supposed titan which swiftly sunk beneath the waters unsure of how to proceed with two more gods showing up, one of them being the king himself.

He sneered addressing his two foolish children,- "To think I let you two play for a bit and then you let yourselves get ambushed by a titan no less, pathetic."

Posiden sighed at his brother's harsh words but remained silent while Ares gritted his teeth in indignation.

Athena on the other hand picked up on the keyword that's been bugging her about this whole thing,- "Titan huh, I knew there was something off about it, but I don't see how it could actually be a titan, maybe some piece was found and used for their experiments," she mumbled getting lost in her thoughts.

Seemingly ignoring her, Zeus continued,- "Yes, these deviants have touched upon something they should have never touched, creating not one, but two potential titans, I want both of you to head back to Olympus and stay there until I say otherwise... Hmm," he goes silent while staring at Athena, contemplating.

Ares unable to take it anymore snaps,- "Father! Allow me to stay and help fight! If it wasn't for Athena I would have easily..."

"Silence Boy! I need no help and I tire of your tantrums, be gone," Interrupted Zeus who waved his hand, sending Ares back to Olympus,- "As for you Athena, that poison surprisingly isn't so simple, I will allow you to take a bit of ambrosia to help cleanse it," he said emphasizing the words, a bit, as he sees her off, not even thinking about how this would further enrage Ares should he find out, not that he would care regardless.

Taras still controlling the body of Gigantus, now fully healed, poked his fish head back up. Surprised to find two of them gone, disappointed that it was the two he was confident in finishing off.

"Well, let's quickly kill it and go hunt the other," said Poseidon impatiently.

Zeus chuckled at his brother's misery,- "All in good time, it's strange though how we can't see the other from here even if it's over in Athens."

Taras suddenly spoke,- "Zeus, king of Olympus, perhaps we could come to some sort of arrangement?" He asked trying to bide time as he felt his body's power steadily growing over time.

Zeus's eyes narrowed dangerously,- "Alright titan, you tell me how it is you came to be, and I promise to make it quick."

Putting the word titan in the back of his head, Taras scoffed,- "You overestimate yourself, this is a new age, my age, and there is no stopping it, the age of fake gods is over!"

A little ticked off, Zeus manages to maintain his composure at first,- "So that's a no? No matter, I'll kill you and then go hunt the other one down, you may have touched upon what is to be a titan, but you're both still far from being a true titan, And You Have Another Thing Coming If You Think For One Measly Minute That I Will Allow You're Filthy Kind To Ever Walk Upon This Earth Again!" Zeus said with his temper and voice rising towards the end as lightning surged all around in tandem.

"Unless they're pretty," Poseidon snorts, unable to hold himself back thinking of the few titans his brother kept around.

Shrinking back moments later with a grin and hands out when Zeus sent him a brief glare as if asking who was he to judge, both of them practically being cut from the same cloth.

Eyes lit up with electrical discharges, Zeus raises his right hand shooting bolts of lightning straight at the would-be titan, vaporizing the water wall that shot up to defend it.

Taras returned fire with a water jet which Zeus backhanded away with ease using his left.

Zeus then flashed just above the head and punched straight down with a fully charged fist, blasting the titan into the depths of the sea.

"Poseidon! Get over here and do something, is this not your territory." Zeus mocked, not wishing to go below and fight in the sea.

Poseidon grumbled,- "You know it has titans blood no matter how little."

There was a reason he asked Zeus for help. It was unclear why the following generations of titans birthed gods, but one thing was abundantly clear. Titans are forces of nature and as such control those forces without equal, not even the gods themselves could contend with them against that. This is why during the war, the gods stayed clear of any titan that used the same force of nature that their powers happened to be attuned to.

However, unlike titans whose powers were tied to the very force they represented, Gods could do far more, be far more, they weren't restricted to only one type of power. Though many did ultimately just stick to the one they had the most affinity for, whether because of laziness or a lack of will to learn new things, thanks in part to the defeat of their only threat.

This was exacerbated by the gods when they all fell into an everlasting party state with no more titans to hold them back, their repressed emotions were unleashed and indulged without restraint. Zeus ultimately did reign things in a bit, naming himself king of the gods, but as long as they didn't stand in his way there were no limits on what they could do.

Zeus taking the realm of Olympus for himself was not without Issues though as splinter groups fled the realm to establish their own. This wasn't taken well by Zeus as he cracked down hard on the rest, but he ultimately came to an accord with the ones who left, they don't bother him and his, and he won't go after them.

Taking hold of his trident with both hands, Poseidon concentrated, the waters below stirring to his call, splitting apart in a circle. Revealing the titan below, where it now rested with eyes closed and a visibly dark scorch mark on top of its head.

"Argh!" Taras woke up back in his body screaming in pain as he tried to clutch his aching head only to find himself still strapped securely to the chair with Zakka nearby monitoring the situation and collecting data.

Hearing his cries, Zakka turns to see what's happened,- "You're back?"

"No, no, no, why am I hear, you must send me back immediately, that stupid thing won't be able to do anything on its own, and it's likely not even conscious after that hit on the head, which is why I must have lost control," Taras complained while Zakka lifted the helmet to check on it and give him more breathing room.

"It'll be dangerous if you suffered this much from it merely being knocked out, are you sure you wish to return?" Zakka warns.

Taras sneered thinking about how cocky Zeus was,- "I can't let him win that easy, quickly update me on everything and then send me back."

Zakka tells him about Kro fighting in the temple against the hated Eternal as he readjusts the settings and places the helmet back on, wishing him good luck while flipping the switch again.

"Oh, it's weaker than I thought, this is going to be good," Zeus grinned evilly as he raises both arms charged with electricity above, hands facing each other, causing dark clouds to swirl around a growing lightning surge.

Awakening, Gigantus groans as its eyes open slowly, looking around confused, unsure of what's going on.

Spotting the two above, its instincts flared, warning it of danger as it roared in protest, flailing around like a fish out of water. Feeling unsafe, it naturally tapped into its power, calling out for the nearby water that was all around but just out of reach.

"Whatever you're going to do, do it fast," Poseidon grunted, fighting to maintain control as the walls of water began to deform towards the beast.

Zeus smirked as he threw his hands down, turning the huge lightning surge in the sky into one of the biggest lightning bolts to date.

Straight at the cowering fish titan as its left arm swung around front to defend itself, managing to bring a shield of water with it from the nearby water wall. Poseidon, unable to maintain the opening any longer against the natural primal instincts of a desperate creature with titan's blood.

The shield did little to stop the massive bolt though as it cut straight through, instantly evaporating the water as it continued through the arm, severing it clean off, piercing into the chest and out the other side, shattering the ground below just as the water rushed in swallowing everything back up.

Irritated that it was underwater again, Zeus scoffed,- "Would you look at that, it's underwater again and fleeing, care to do something useful for once?" he asked scornfully.

Poseidon held his tongue with furrowed brows as he lifted his trident over his shoulder and took aim,- "Don't worry, now that's it weakened I'll have no trouble pushing it back up to you," he said charging his attack. Water swirling around the tip of the trident.

"Hmph, I have no worries, you're the one who can't seem to keep it up," Zeus chastised.

Poseidon could only sigh in the face of his brother's endless ego having gotten used to it over the many long years, though it was still tough at times, to say the least.

After throwing his trident that took off like a water drill in the air before hitting the water, picking up speed as it went, Poseidon dropped from the air, melding into the sea beneath.

No matter how fast the injured creature swam, it couldn't escape the rapidly approaching Trident.

It paused as a sharp piercing pain shot through its back and came out the front, into the waiting arms of Poseidon who appeared before it.

Eye's glowing a sea blue, turquoise, Poseidon called upon the ocean waters, waving his trident upwards to send the creature out.

Feeling itself being pushed towards the surface, it reacted strongly clawing with its one good arm at the threat while simultaneously, but unintentionally, disrupting the flow of water away from Poseidon's control.

Grunting in displeasure, Poseidon kept calm, propelling his body backward to avoid the strike as he slowly spun around while spinning his trident, creating a whirlpool as he completed his spin, unleashing it with all his might.

A tornado of water hitting Gigantus right in the chest, blowing him up and away, right out to a waiting Zeus.

It was at this time during Gigantus's fading willpower that Taras gained control only to instantly regret upon seeing the mighty Zeus in all his lightning glory, zap him. Letting loose the storm upon his giant foe, slowly cooking him to death as the entire area lit up from the excessive light show.

Lightning raining down from Zeus and the sky without mercy, crackling all over the titan and the surrounding area as even the sea underneath wasn't spared, boiling in areas from the exorbitant amount of electrical discharges, until the poor creature was eventually turned to dust.

Slowly walking away after sending Taras's mind back, Zakka gets startled by the most agonizing scream yet. Turning to see Taras's whole body being electrocuted until it was nothing but a smoking corpse.

Zakka shook his head in disappointment, watching one he use to think of as an equal, albeit in a different field, but still as intellectually as smart as himself, succumb to such a pathetic end. He couldn't understand why Taras insisted on giving everything to this one experiment, this one mission for Kro.

He also couldn't fathom why Taras believed that this giant Fishman was his best, the peak of his efforts when there was in fact a better one he all but ignored. Was the man obsessed with size? Why else would he ignore the much better, much smaller 4 arm deviant experiment, even when his precious leader Kro took a liking to the 4 arm.

Leaving the room, Zakka sees on the monitors how things are playing out across the battlefield, and decides to gather his things and head for the portal room, there was nothing left for him here.

Poseidon emerged next to his brother from a watering teleport as the ashes of the titan blew away.

"Now that that's taken care of, let's go find the other one and finish this," Zeus says zapping away not even acknowledging his brother's service as Poseidon sighs dropping back into the water to catch up.
