Saico dragged Simione to the library. He knew she was headed there as she always went there after classes. Simione thanked him for what he did and started heading for an empty seat with the intention of reading her notes. The man had followed her closely. The Monsanto madam had gotten used to Saico always joining her during study time, and although at first she felt uncomfortable with it, Saico had proven to be a very effective study buddy. When Simione needed someone to brainstorm with or discuss class lessons, Saico's contributions were invaluable. After all, he was at the top of their class and excelled at almost everything.
Simione settled into her usual spot by the window, the sunlight streaming in creating a warm, inviting space. She opened her notebook and began reviewing her notes, her mind gradually easing from the confrontation with Erithel. Saico sat across from her, pulling out his own materials.
