A Spider, a Snake and a Slytherin

"Amazing, you're Harry Potter." -Said the girl. "I am Hermione Granger. Are you? "- I end up asking.

"Gabriel Esthel." - Gabriel replied with some indifference in his voice.

Seeing that the three boys did not pay much attention, Hermione advised them to change their clothes as they were about to reach Hogwarts, and left the compartment.

Gabriel and Harry nodded, and began to put on the uniform.

A while later, the train stopped, and all the students got off the train. The first year would use boats to reach the entrance to the magical castle.

All freshmen entered the huge classroom. The most spectacular apart from the size of the construction itself was the enchanted roof, which took on the appearance of a night sky full of stars.

One by one, the young wizards were placed in their respective houses. Harry, Ron and Hermione were selected for Gryffindor.

"It's finally my turn." Gabriel said as he walked to the chair where Professor Mcgonagall was and the magic sorting hat.

Gabriel got up from the chair and headed for the Slytherin table. He sat next to Draco and his friends.

After the banquet, all the first students followed their guides to the dormitories.

Gabriel was quite lucky and was assigned an individual room.

Suddenly a strong explosion affected several trees around the spider's position. Three trees fell to the ground, with some parts incinerated. The spider lost only two of its legs, as it had enough speed to dodge the center of the explosion.

Quickly, with an agile movement, the giant spider prepared to fight back.

"Not bad, I managed to save myself from the explosion." - Gabriel thought as he prepared to face the attack of his enemy.

Seeing the movements of its aggressor, the spider launched itself even faster towards the human. What was not expected is that the magician's speed was much higher than his own.

Gabriel, after training his body for several years, reached incredible speed or at least that was what the spider looked like.

The wizard dodged the attack, and quickly counterattacked with his wand.

"Insect dies!" - Gabriel shouted, sticking his wand as if it were a very sharp knife.

The spider died instantly.

The young man was cleansed of the spilled blood on his hands and clothes using a simple spell. And with his Alpha Stigma he scanned the area again.

A little sweat began to sprout from the wizard's body. Since his eyes detected a very strong magical presence very close to him. Gabriel has been so focused on the battle that he forgot to look at his surroundings.

He turned his head toward the tree where the strong magical power came from and saw a green-eyed white snake, quite large, curled up in the branches of a tree.
