Once there he joins Pang Tong and Tang Shi which were drinking at some table which the people of Luoyang provided to them.
"I see that you are drinking," says Yun as Tang Shi was drinking water while Pang Tong was drinking wine.
"The war is over and the Coalition will soon dissolve. Why should I not drink," says Pang Tong knowing what was going to happen next.
"What are you talking about?" asks Tang Shi as he looked at Pang Tong confused since in his opinion the war wasn't over yet.
"He is right, the war is over for us. It is time to return home," says Yun confirming Pang Tong's opinion.
"But Dong Zhuo is still out there!" shouts Tang Shi not understanding the situation.
"Once words spread that Dong Zhuo left Luoyang all the Warlords will go at each other's throats to gain an advantage over each other to control the Central Plain. We lost some men and need to return home to recover," says Yun as he missed his wife and children.
"So the war just changed," says Tang Shi as Pang Tong claps his hands together.
"Exactly, Dong Zhuo wasn't the real objective of this Coalition but to weaken each other. We only lost around a thousand to two thousand which is only a small scratch for us," says Pang Tong as they made Zhending over the years into a fortress that can be held by two hundred alone.
"Now it is our time to wait for Yuan Shao or Cao Cao to try and buy us as Yuan Shu did before," says Yun as he sat down.
"Why one of those two when there are so many out Warlords in the Central Plain?" asks Tang Shi as Pang Tong takes a long sip from his jar.
"Yuan Shao and Cao Cao are the two Warlords that haven't lost much in this war against Dong Zhuo. Cao Cao gained reputation even if he lost one battle against Dong Zhuo while Yuan Shao is from a Noble Clan," explains Pang Tong to Tang Shi since Yun didn't need much of an explanation from him.
"So everything we did until now was for nothing?" asks Tang Shi furiously since they have lost many good men.
"Not for nothing," says Yun as he looked at Tang Shi.
"We made our name ring again reminding the world that we are not to mess with," says Yun as he looked at the sky.
"But we will be returning home beginning tomorrow. I want everyone ready for departure," says Yun as Pang Tong looked at him confused.
"You aren't afraid that Yuan Shu won't pay us?" asks Pang Tong as Yun smirks.
"Sun Jian wouldn't allow such an injustice to happen to one of his benefactors. Even more so now that he obtained the Imperial Seal from me," says Yun as Pang Tong and Tang Shi spewed their drink out while coughing.
"Where did you even find the Imperial Seal?" asks Tang Shi as Yun told them where he found it and why he gave it away to Sun Jian.
"You did well. We can't handle all the Warlords around us and if we are going to work for one of them we can't have that leverage with us," says Pang Tong as he was convinced that they wouldn't be able to fight all of the Warlords around them.
"That's why we are retreating now and not later. Once the news travel that Dong Zhuo was defeated everyone will go against each other throat and we don't want to get involved in Yuan Shu's fight against his younger half-brother Yuan Shao," says Yun as Yuan Shu and Yuan Shao had bad blood with each other because Yuan Shao became the Clan Leader.
"So we are going back home until we are needed again?" asks Tang Shi as Yun nods while smiling.
"It will be a short break since we are going to continue our recruitment of Yellow Turbans in the nearby areas," says Yun not wanting to lose all of them to Liu Bei and Cao Cao.
"And in a year or two we will be called again to fight by one of the two mentioned Warlords," says Pang Tong as Yun began to think about something.
"What is troubling you?" asks Tang Shi as Yun waves his hand.
"It's nothing, I was just thinking about how old Cao Cao's second son is at the moment," says Yun which shocked the two again.
"You aren't thinking of linking your family to Cao Cao's?" asks Tang Shi as Pang Tong gave it a thought.
"He wants Cao Cao to think about that idea which will make Cao Cao more friendly towards us if he knows that both are almost the same age. Our Lord wouldn't just let his daughter go. She is treated as if she is the Emperor by the Zhao Household. I won't envy the man that will marry any woman from the Zhao Household," says Pang Tong as the men in the Zhao Household are quite protective of their female descendants.
"Now that I think about it isn't Wei Yan going to marry your sister once this campaign is over," says Tang Shi as Yun turned to Tang Shi looking cold which made both freeze up for a moment.
"What did you say? I told Wei Yan that he will need to reach the rank of General before I can hand him over my cute little sister for marriage," says Yun seriously making the two feel uncomfortable before he began to laugh.
"It was a joke," says Yun releasing the tension in the air.
"I almost got a heart attack because of that," says Tang Shi as Pang Tong nods right behind him.
"I already gave them my blessing as did Hua since Wei Yan is training extra hard to accomplish what he has set in mind and that is to become a famous General.
But my father is another story, he still isn't convinced but after killing so many people he should be promoted to a fifty-men captain that will make him challenge himself more since he now needs to learn how to lead people," says Yun with a smile seeing that his student has improved a lot since he took him under his wings.
"So he has to get the approval of the most stubborn Zhao to be able to marry Qing. It should be possible if he uses the right tactic," says Pang Tong thinking about it since the two strongest weren't in Wei Yan's way.
"Anyway, I should get going and see how our guests are doing," says Yun as he leaves the two behind.
They lift their cup and jar before Yun leaves before they drink from it. Yun arrived at a house that was almost burned down when he sees Dian Wei standing guard with Wei Yan.
"Was everything calm while you came to the capital?" asks Yun as Dian Wei nods.
"Yes, no problem came our way. The princess is sleeping at the moment since she exhausted all her strength riding the horse with her mother," says Dian Wei informing Yun about everything when Yun places his hands on both of them.
"You did well. Tell the other that they should rest we will be marching back home tomorrow when the sun rises," says Yun as Dian Wei nods and leaves when Yun turns to Wei Yan and hands him some Jade Earrings he bought from a merchant that lost everything except for some jewelry.
"You can't return home without some gift for my sister or my father will think that you don't care for her. Also, you will be promoted once we are in Zhending," says Yun making Wei Yan feel excited.
"What will my rank be?" asks Wei Yan with high expectations.
"Captain of fifty-men. It will be official since your group lost its captain in the battle against Hua Xiong. You will take his place," says Yun as Wei Yan found his high expectations being crushed by Yun.
"Don't worry everyone begins small. It depends on your attitude if you can rise through the ranks as I did. I started with ten loyal men and now see me leading over twenty thousand soldiers. Your time will come soon," says Yun as he was confident that Wei Yan will become a great General once it is his time.
"But for now learn how to lead those fifty men," says Yun petting Wei Yan's head before passing him.
"So the war is over going by what you said to your subordinates," says Wei Mei as Yun nods.
"Yes, the Coalition never wanted to kill Dong Zhuo but weaken each other by fighting him. Now that he retreated everyone will show its real face. I want to take this opportunity to retreat while no one knows that Dong Zhuo retreated," says Yun as Wei Mei sees how far Yun was planning.
"It is no wonder that Lu Bu admires you so much. You plan three steps ahead of everyone," says Wei Mei as Yun smiles.
"I have to for the future of my family. That means your daughter as well since she is my daughter-in-law," says Yun as he sees the little Tigress sleeping in the hides.
"Wei Mei, you are from a merchant family, right?" asks Yun as Wei Mei nods confirming it.
"That means you learned how to lead the finances of a household?" asks Yun as Wei Mei nods again.
"Why are you asking that?" asks Wei Mei confused as Yun sighs.
"Can you teach Diao Chan once you are in the Zhao Manor? I tried to do so but I think that it was too complex for her. She never learned how to lead the household since she is from a poor family and my mother never taught her since she needed to learn some martial arts," says Yun as he explained everything to Wei Mei.
"I can do so since I will be staying for free in the Zhao Manor. It is the least I can do," says Wei Mei as Yun smiles at her.
"Thank you, I can't have my mother deal with two households the whole time. She might love it but she is getting older and needs her rest," says Yun as he was worried that his mother is overworking herself so Diao Chan doesn't notice that she is a border when it comes to this.
"I will do my best," says Wei Mei as she bows to Yun who also bows to her showing her the respect she deserves for teaching his wife in the future before he tells her to sleep so they had enough energy for tomorrow.
