Wedding Confrontation

"Late! I was too busy trying to comfort Yulia that I did not pay attention to the time…" Reuben finally makes it to the ceremony when he is carefully led inside by the side door. When he pauses to see Leena holding Steph's hand.

"…my Leena is so beautiful," he sighs, admiring the image of Leena and Steph staring at one another as if they were in their own world.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your wife." The officiator moves away for the photographer to capture their first kiss as husband and wife.

When Reuben saw this, loud cheers and a round of applause stormed from the guests. But he felt his stomach tighten, "she's all grown up now…my little girl does not need me anymore."
