On his mother's side

Livian impatiently waited for Shera. She had said that she would get someone to pick him up from Jade Mansion, so he stayed inside all day and glanced at his phone from time to time, checking if there was any message from her. 

After the umpteenth fruitless check, he decided that she was probably not going to tell him anything beforehand. Whoever she was sending would probably make a "grand" entrance like she usually did.

He decided to wait, but only until 2 pm, their agreed time. He had been staring at the golden clock on the wall of his room for about a minute. Once the minute hand struck 12, he checked his phone again. There was no call or message, and there wasn't any sign of anyone trying to sneak into Jade Mansion either.
