My Little Angel

She looks at me with those vulnerable pair of eyes as though thinking about what I'm saying. Her expression carries a small grin on the sides as her eyes' peeks downward at the long grass she's playing with her hand.

With the wind blowing her slightly curly black hair that's like a stream of flowing water. She smiles warmly to me, "But I don't want you to be an emperor or anything like that. I want you to always stay in my heart as Zhidu. Because the person right in front of me is the person I want by my side."

Her eyes have a slight twinkle in them, beautiful and shiny from the ray hitting from the dawning sun before us. In that silence it still makes his heart wonder who this girl is. Who for some strange reason seems and makes him feel like she's so much more older than her youthful age. With feelings more developed than he's accustomed to in contact with at the Forbidden City.

She's so much more mature than those girls. She doesn't look the way they do, with perfumes on their body and face painted with different makeup to attract his attention.

She also carries herself with a presence that truly charms him. Instead of the girls with a fake cuteness or innocence to them to attract him into a night that has a political goal after they would carry his child.

Tony places his hand on top of the one that's close by his sand. Feeling the glowing warmth on those small dainty fingertips that spreads itself through the blades of short grass.

"You know I can't figure out just what is special about you yet. I can't put my fingers on it," he voiced to her forgetting all about the sun that still hovers only partially.

She covers her mouth to hide her small giggles, "Well that's the point isn't it? If you figured it out, I wouldn't be that special to you anymore. Hopefully you'll never be able to figure that out." Her eyes also seem to be smiling warmly towards him as well when she speaks.

"I guess you're right," Tony replied nodding his head in agreement. Holding her as he helps her stand up from the grass to depart back home.

The sunset is gone now, there's only the hallowed moon that is in the horizon tonight. With its wisp of clouds that are slowly descending past it like parts of a dark blanket.

The time spending with the people you most appreciate in the world does make time go so much faster. Even if it is as simple as hanging out watching a scene of the dawning sun.

As they were both standing away from the dark landscape before the tip of the grassland. Zetian turns her head to take a last look at the scene they were both admiring a second ago.

She breathes a small sigh mustering a tough smile watching the small darkness that ends the scene for the day, "Looks like my wish didn't come true."

"Your wish?"

Tony was curious to know just what kind of wish she had made. For some reason as she leans so close to the cliff of the grassland it almost made him feel like she'll depart step by step in the midair away from him.

"Yeah," she breathes a small sigh turning her face back to him with that bearing tough smile on that cute gentle face, "When I came here, I already wish I can spend all eternity just watching the sun with you. Sadly, I should know such a wish wouldn't come true."

"But aren't I still here love? There's always tomorrow. If you want, we could come here again watching the sun just like today," Tony wraps his arms from behind her. Gentle cuddling that tiny waist watching in the direction she does. The only things looking back is the vast darkness that stares back at them.

"Well, it just isn't the same," She turns her head around to stare a little back at me as though saying 'how can you not understand me?' Her face has an adorable pouting of her cheeks.

"Today is irreplaceable. No matter how hard we can try; no other day will be special like this day. Just like tomorrow is its own," she says holding onto my hands that locks near her belly button.

Sometimes the things that comes out of her mouth really makes Tony wonder if there's a little philosopher that's hiding inside that tiny mind of hers. Some ways it can be really cute the way she acts and also the things she said revealing about life, a perspective that he never gets bored from listening to.

She turns herself around within the hold of his locked arms, reaching onto her tippy toes planting kiss on his lips. Except Tony didn't let her get away to embrace her and keep this angel into his arms just for a little longer.

"If every day is special in its own ways doesn't that mean I will have to romance you in a different way every single day," he asks her with slight intrigue.

She laughs holding to him also, "I'll guess you'll have to work hard then. Because I have a good memory." She places her head leaning inside to his chest. She whispers sweetly as she closes her eyes for a moment, "I hope you won't ever get bored of romancing me off my feet."

"I won't," he promises her with his looking deeply into hers, "Who will ever get bored of such a cute little angel?"

Hearing way of describing this she giggles, "Cute little angel? You know I can be scary too." Zetian then proceeds to make a scary face by sticking out her little tongue and using her fingers to stretch her eye lids, which only made her even more cute in Tony's eyes.

Tony then smiles at her holding to her small face while looking at her in a serious way. In a deep voice he speaks to her in a whisper just so she can hear in this starry sky,

"

Every day that passes by

My heart breaks just a little more

Knowing that life doesn't last forever

Knowing that I can't hold you closer

Knowing that I can't always be there to tell you

How beautiful you are

even when you doubt yourself

even when your hand has wrinkles

Because all love stories have to end

But now there's no question in my heart

Because even if I'm not there to kiss you and to hold you

I'm sure this love will last longer than words can

I'm sure this memory of us will last forever in your heart

All the time left when I leave before you

The memory of our love shall wipe away all the tears

That grains those beautiful eyes of my Angel"

Dear reader,

I seriously wish I can write something beautiful for you. For some reason despite my wishes everytime I write it seems like the first time.

Where the words don't touch. With imperfections. With doubt in my heart whether these words will mean anything when it reaches you.

May my writing everyday allow you to see progress.

Your Friend,
