Lesbian Romance Poem
I can feel the hot
Sand against my skin
As she lay beside
Me. The dandelions
Brush against our cheeks.
.
Her breath is warm
Like the springtime
Breeze that lingers
On the lake as the water
Licks the sunbathing rocks.
.
Her lips are petals
Against my neck.
She tangles her fingers
Through my hair like the ivy
That caresses
The slender branches.
.
She takes in my lemon
Shampoo and watermelon
Lip gloss. Venus, the evening
Star, winks. The sky blushes
As the ivory sun
Closes his eyes, but the dove
And Robin stare.
They have no reason to judge.
