Chapter 50 - The Curse of Emiya

Shirou, words making Archer heart feel bitter. Even though he said to everyone that he really hate his old self who want to became a superhero who try to save everyone. But deep inside his heart he still want to reach that old dream. Even after he try to kill his past self countless time in a countless Holy Grail War where he was always summoned as Archer EMIYA.

His old dream that force him to became a Counter Guardian, the lap dog of Alaya. His old dream that crush his life and making his relationship with his wife and child destroyed.

A dream that he cannot give up until now, a dream that making him a twisted person.

A curse that was given to him by his adopted father Kiritsugu Emiya, just a moment before he die. Just like what his younger self said to him.

A curse that he cannot break because of his stubborness.

And the words of his younger self that was said to him before about how his younger self can break the curse from Kiritsugu. Making Archer thinking a lot, if his younger self can break the curse by dedicated himself to protect the person was dear to him. Why he cannot do the same thing?

Are he also have a person who he loved so much like his wife and child. But why in the past he cannot do the same thing that his other self do.

Why he is so stubborn to reach the impossible dream that he cannot achieve no matter what? Archer feel a bit weird about himself, because for him the orphan who was adopted by Kiritsugu a love from a family was more important than an impossible dream. Are he truly want to abandoned his wife and chils just for that dream, no there is no way he will abandoned a people who are precious and dear to him just for a stupid dream.

But in the end he still abandoned his family to became the Hero of Justice, because of Kiritsugu words who cannot achieve that dream and also because of his own stupidness who try to follow that dream by making a contract with Alaya.

Just like what his younger self said, the words and dream from Kiritsugu really are became a curse. The curse of Emiya, who he cannot break until now. Because his stupidness and stubborness who still thinking that his dream to became a Hero of Justice was right and everyone else who said his dream is stupid was the one who wrong.

Because of this Archer gritted his teeth, his heart was full of regret. If only in the past he didn't abandoned Rin and choosing her rather than choosing his stupid dream, maybe he will not became the Counter Guardian and living a good and normal life, along with Rin and their child. And the curse from Kiritsugu will be broken forever and he will be free from that cursed.

"Why did you suddenly became silence like that, Archer?" Asked Shirou who look confused by the behaviour of his future self. "Are there is something that made you like that?"

"Nah, there was nothing, I was just thinking about something," Archer said with a sad smile on his faces. "Something that made me feel a lot of regret in the past. Now because we already finishing of Zouken, how about we going back home and take a break. Because there was nothing left that we have to do in this area."

Shirou nodded his head, and then going from the Matou Mansion, while Archer was following him from behind and making himself invisible by going back to his spirit forms.

In the Emiya Residence, Sakura who was have a spiritual connection to Zouken suddenly waking up from her sleep. She can feel that Zouken already dead and the connection that she have with Zouken in broken and gone forever.

She didn't know what has happen, but she feel really happy. Because finally she can be free one hundred percent from Zouken. A tears was came out of her eyes after more than ten years suffering and hell, she are now a free person.

"Tcch those two faker was succed in killing those disguisting old worms, huh," Gilgamesh said while drinking a whine in a expensive looking glass while looking to a crystal ball that conected to an eyes golem that he put not from Matou Mansion. "I cannot let those two faker alive, because those two having something that can be a threat to me!"

"A threat to you? A king of Heroes. The strongest servant that can be summoned from the Throne of Heroes feel a threat to a young third rate magus and also to an Archer that was much more weaker than you?" Kirei said who feel weird by why Gilgamesh who are the strongest Servant can be feel afraid like that. "Can you tell me the reason why both of them can be a threat to you."

"Based on the vision that I get from Shanaqba Imuru I can see that both of them are the same person, that red Archer was the alternate future self of the young one who become a Counter Guardian. And both of them have a Reality Marble that have a countless sword inside of it," Gilgamesh said gritted his teeth. "Unlimited Blade Works, the Infinity Creation of Swords. A Reality Marble who are a natural enemies for my Gate of Babylon. If only one person that can use that Reality Marble then maybe I can handle it, but right now there is two person who having the same Reality Marble! Even I will feel overwhelmed if I must to fight againts both of them at the same time."

"Reality Marble with a countless weapon inside of it, that are a natural enemies of your Noble Phantasm, huh?" Kirei said with a sadistis smile on his faces. "And there was two person who have it, no wonder you feel threatened."

"But because those two mongrel was something that can challenge this king! This king finally feel a joy that he didn't have for a long time. A joy to fight againts an enemies that strong enough to make this king having a sweat drop drom his body!" Gilgamesh said while showing his teeth because he feel happy. "In this time and age is hard for this king to found something interesting that will give me a joy and fun."

"You are really weird Gilgamesh, why did you feel a joy fighting an enemies that have a chance to kill you," Kirei said with his usual evil smile. "Your taste was really weird."

"Shut up Kirei, you didn't have a right to judge this king taste," Gilgamesh said while shooting out a couple of swords from his Gate of Babylon to Kirei. "I only let you live because you still have use to me. Or I already kill you! Don't forget that because of this king that you still can be a life after that damned Assasin kill you! So your life was mine!"

After that Gilgamesh was walking out of the church while the Noble Phantasm that shoot out by Gilgamesh was start to disappear.

Seeing Gilgamesh left, Kirei only smiling evily like always. Kirei never have a fear to anyone. So not even the threat from the King of Heroes can made him feel afraid.

"So now because Zouken and Shinji is already dead, what we will do next?" Asked Shirou. "You already know that the Holy Grail was corrupted, are we must to destroy the greater grail that exist in the cave behind Ryuudou temple in mount Enzo?"

"To kill Gilgamesh and Kirei, both of them was the main culprit behind the Fuyuki fire ten years ago. But both of them was not an easy enemies, Kirei was a very good martial artist that made our old men the Magus Killer overwhelmed. And to kill the King of Heroes Gilgamesh we need the help of all the Servant that left and also I need you to try to activated the Unlimited Blade Works. The Reality Marble who are a natural enemies of the Gate of Babylon," Archer said with a serious expression on his faces. "I can activated the UBW just fine, but I think you still cannot do it right, even with the help of the other version of me on your left arms."

"Yeah, you are right, I still cannot activated the Unlimited Blade Works. My nerves that I made into a magic circuit was one of the reason that I cannot activated the Unlimited Blade Works. Because I didn't have enough prana to activated the UBW. I think I need a help from Tohsaka or Illya so that I can activated my real magic circuit," Shirou said. "Even I didn't know are the can help me or not."
