The Walk Home

I had to leave the vehicle outside of my town, camouflaged in order to keep people that knew me from being suspicious. What I hadn't noticed until now, due to the wind blowing, were the holes... more like missing parts of my shirt.

Since the drive back home was a during the night it be easy to sneak in the apartment complex. The town wasn't that big compared to other parts of the country.

The one great thing about Alaska was the brisk clean air, though it was summer it stays usually in the mid 60s to low 70s. The mountain tops still had snow on them.

Eagle River, Alaska. As the name implies during the day you can see bald eagles atop the trees. Though it was night you could see some silhouettes dancing about and flying in the moon light.

When I had finally gotten home. I took off my torn shirt and checked it. There was dried blood on my shirt and not only there but on my pants too.

I checked my chest in order to find out if I had any cuts. Nothing. Not one hole or even scar. When I had gotten out of the shower I felt myself relaxing. And I passed out on my way to my bedroom.

Thud.
