"What was that all about, do you know him or something?" Abby asks on our way to the cafeteria. 

"Not really, we met the other day at the eatery not like in a friendly way but he was rude". 

"Yeah, and so handsome", Abby blush. 

"Whatever".

"So Tracy tell me more about yourself, boyfriend and others". Abby asks while sitting on a chair in the middle of the cafeteria. 

"Well, I'm Tracy, I had a short term relationship with a guy back in high school. I tell her. 

"Ughh... Sorry, I'm still together with my Bobby. I met him at the mall and he helped pay for my stuff because I forgot my purse at the hostel. it was embarrassing at first... I'd say he saved a damsel in distress so we started dating last week, she smiled and continued, you wanna know why I said we were still together? She asks and I nod for her to go on. 

"I've never dated a guy more than a week before but Bobby is a sweetheart!. 

"Wow, a nice story," I said clapping my hands. 

She hits me playfully on the shoulder. "You are an ass,...

"Hey ladies, may I? Chris asks with a warm smile while drawing out a chair beside me. 

"Yeah sure, I smiled back. 

"Abby, this is Chris, Chris this is Abby,'' I say, introducing them. 

"Abby nice meeting you".

Abby's face turned red immediately "Same here, Abby smile mildly. 

"See you, girls, later, I just came by to say hi, Chris says rising to his feet. 

"You just got here! Abby whines. I sat and cupped my face looking at how Abby was all acting up and blushing at the same time. 

"I know but I've got class now, bye girls, Chris beams with a smile before leaving. 

"Bye!, I yell, he turned and smile, this time it reached his eyes. I'm still confused about why a decent guy like Chris hangs out with Ayan. And he is handsome. 

"He is such a darling, I could switch him over with Bobby if I had a chance...Abby blush again. "Hey!, stop looking at me like that! I'm just kidding. 

"Abby, you are such a flirt. I tease. 

"Yeah, you don't have to remind me that" she laughs. 

"Hey...gotta go now, I have loads of books to memorize. 

"No, you ain't going anywhere now, Abby says shaking her head in disapproval. 

"I have to go okay, I need some rest and my body hurts ".

"Where is your hostel?".

"I live off-campus, I tell her. 

"Hop in, let me give you a ride, she says dragging me again. 

"You are really something else,'' I tease. 

* a Few minutes later*. "Wow, your house is beautiful, do you live here alone? Abby asks as we drive to the small red gate. 

"No I live with a ghost housemate, I tell her. 

"Ghost housemate? this girl, you are so funny, Abby laughs. 

"Well, I haven't seen her since I got here ".

Abby's phone chimes in interrupting our conversation. "Oh, I've forgotten my date with bobby today, he just texted me now, I gotta go, bye baby see you on Wednesday or I might come over, it's nice hanging out with you! " 

"Same here, Bye!"I yell, hoping she could hear me as she drove off. I walk inside, a white Camry is parked in the garage. "Maybe my roomie is at home. I say to myself. Maybe your roomie is a ghost indeed. My subconscious adds. I pushed it A-side and enters the password.
