Calvis of the Ibex Family

As Calvis patiently waited in space, there seemed to be a change in the atmosphere of the planet as the shield seemed to strengthen to the extreme even becoming visible. Not long after, 20 large ships appeared around him and the portal directly to his location. Suddenly Calvis was surrounded by 3 Xuhan elders who were floating in space like him.

Calvis was shocked to realize that they seemed to be comfortable in space without the use of suits. He realized quickly that they were psychic projections.

'Do they think that will keep them safe?' Calvis thought.

"Who are you and why have you come to a Xuhan homeworld?" A man with silver robes spoke in a shrill tone with barely concealed hostility.

"To conquer your race and control your world," said Calvis with a straight face.

"Really?" The silver robed man was shocked that Calvis was so upfront about his intentions.

"No, but you shouldn't be so rude to someone you just met," Calvis said as he let loose an aura that suppressed the Elder and was felt by his real body on the planet's surface.

The silver robed man felt like someone had slapped him. He was about to retort when Calvis released an aura that shocked him to his core. He looked at the other elders and it seemed that they had felt nothing only he had.

"So why have you come here," said a man in black robes.

"I have come to offer an alliance between us," said Calvis in a sincere tone. "Since the elder races entered this universe our races had limited contact with each other. Each of us has taken their own domain and we lost ourselves in the vastness of space. No one of the Parthians has even seen a Xuhan in 1000 interstellar years. Some even believed that you left this universe and passed into the great void beyond. But here you are, a single shield world, abandoned."

"I will offer you any material you desire and a slice of the Galaxy if you offer all your technological designs and your entire library of knowledge," said Calvis getting straight to the point. He hardly cared if they took the offer or not. If they decided to join him they would be a huge asset if not he would build an army and plunder their library. Their library contained detailed records and all the knowledge of one of the most scientifically oriented of all the elder races. This was not something that he could pass up.

"Any other requests?" The last elder asked sarcastically.

"Yeah, bow before your better," Calvis said slightly angry that they thought that they were in a position to outright refuse him as he sent out a light impulse to reinforce his command and his large wings extended from his back and became Visible.

The elders bowed to him without meaning to and the people on the ships held even less willpower and began to bow religiously toward him as if he was a god they wished to grant their wishes.

Jake managed to get assigned to one of the viewing decks of the warship he boarded. He was told to input a location and they teleported into space. Once he arrived, he saw the most beautiful man he had ever seen through the enhanced viewing screen. Jake was deeply shocked when he realized the man was standing still in space without a spacesuit.

'I knew Parthians are a powerful elder race but I didn't realize that they could even survive in the vacuum of space,' thought Jake as he stared into the viewing screen intently

Jake could even sense his aura from the spaceship and became entranced by it when he was interrupted by Tuja who managed to get assigned to the same place as he did.

"You are okay there Bubblehead." Tuja made an annoyed expression at Jake. He was always getting caught up thinking about something and not listening to what she said.

Suddenly there was a flair of regal aura that poured out of Parthian's wings which appeared on his back. Tuja fell to the ground and took up a worshipful pose. Jake looked on with concern not understanding why this had happened to her. When he felt the impulse to bow he simply ignored it.

When Jake looked up he saw the Parthian looking at him through the viewing window.

'That's impossible,' thought Jake before the red-eyed Parthian looked away.

Calvis noticed a boy of the Xuhan race that actually withstood his intent but looked towards the elders and told them while they were still bowing, "I am Calvis of the Ibex family. I have decided to claim this Galaxy. You can either help me conquer it or I will conquer you. You have one interstellar week to decide.
